Gives me plenty of freedom to move around, keeps OC2 battery from draining too fast with wired play
This cable is plenty long, and plenty fast - it passes all the VR compatibility tests and multiple full-length 1.5GB movies copied onto the Quest very quickly. It's probably 5-10 feet longer than I needed. It does have some weight to it, so I do wish it was slightly lighter, but that would sacrifice durability. However, it's thinner than any of my HDMI cables and not too stiff. The only weight that I feel is the weight of the portion of cable that is between the floor and my headset, and if I sit on the couch and put the extra cable on the couch next to me, then there is less weight to pull down on my headset. It's smooth instead of rough and doesn't catch my clothing like a nylon braided cable, and it's slightly rubbery but NOT so grippy that it would catch my clothing either.I do find that the USB-A port on the front panel of my PC doesn't charge the Oculus Quest 2 fast enough to keep it at 100% while using it at the same time. However, instead of 2 hours of battery life when wireless - I estimate that I could likely have 10-15 hours of continuous play at 72Hz before the Oculus Quest 2 battery completely drains while playing wired.Charging while not using the headset goes pretty quickly (didn't time it). I've not been able to stand playing wired for longer than it takes to drop to 50% battery, after several hours, didn't time it. It will likely go 2-3x longer with wired play before being drained than when using it wireless with the Oculus battery pack Elite headstrap (I got 4.5 hours with the Elite battery headstrap wireless play).I didn't use a USB-C adapter to see if my C-port keeps it charged at 100% while playing, because I don't know if my USB-C has higher power (Asus Dark Hero or ASRock Taichi Razer Ed). AND I feel like that would allow the cable/plug to act as a longer lever on my front panel USB-C port and maybe damage it. I also didn't try playing standalone games while plugged into the computer with this as a charger only, as I use a 45W Anker USB-C power adapter when I do that, which keeps the OC2 at 100% the whole time.

does it's job for quest 2
i love the length. it's also durable. i find maybe once a month or if i mess something up it won't connect. You gotta remember the install instructions. disconnecting both ends then plugging it into the pc first and then the headset. This lets the internal chip reset and has fixed it every time. it's my go to cable but can't play and charge a quest pro's power draw.
