Gordon Ramsay's Home Cooking : Everything You Need to Know to Make Fabulous Food

Received pretty fast and the book is truly well put together.

I LOVE this book! Ive seen many reviews saying that most of the stuff is to fancy to make for normal dinners, or that the ingredients are hard to come by, or that no one has time to make these, but honestly I make receipes from this book 4 to 5 times a week. Every thing has been super easy to make, ingredients were not hards to find at all (except the lamb, instead of using lamb I just use a different meat). As far as time, I have a 4 year old, a 3 year old, and a 7 month old and Im still able to make the recipes.

i like gordon's intimate expression, the fotos. if only there would be tarte tatin recipe. cooking tips are original and simple.

So, it's Gordon Ramsay, so the recipe's are going to be a little bit more "fancy" but he does such a phenomenal job of bringing the entire book down to earth! In this book you will find his tips and experience with every single kitchen tool, how to select the more important ones, an entire budget friendly section where he breaks down cheaper ingredients, cooking for 2, cooking for more than 2, and, really any thing else you can think of. This is a fantastic beginners guid to cooking. Each recipe I've cooked to date has brought all the flavour you would expect from one of his cookbooks. Would highly recommend this book.

This is a great cookbook filled with great recipes. You'll be cooking like a pro in no time! However, they are not simple 5-ingredient recipes so if that is what you're looking for, skip this one. There are a lot of items that are hard to find and some I had to google to find out what the hell they were! But it's a gorgeous book with pictures of all the meals with easy to follow instructions. Just depends how ambitious you are....or want to be....in the kitchen.

My first cooking book and Gordon is a genius! Made me discover so many flavors and encouraged me to eat well while enjoying cooking. Step-by-step instructions for each recipe. Highly recommended for beginners and intermediates.
