I had some bags .with pump .it was great keeping food fresh..so these were a good buy...Will last me a very long time as I can reuse...I'm using the last of my food bags from supermarket .and just stick to these now

These were the cheapest vacuum seal food bags I found on amazon, but dont let that put you off, they are as good as the more expensive options, they are easy to use and do keep the airtight seal well.So easy, just full the bag with the food you want to save up to the fill line, close the bag, making sure you seal the zip lock using the little white clip to press down and slide from side to side, keep the valve flat on a flat surface while you press your suction device over the valve and start pumping out air, you will notice the bag flattening and tightening around the food inside quite quickly, I use an electric pump so this only takes a few seconds.I have stored food in the fridge, but they seem to be sturdy enough to put into the freezer too. I have kept left over sunday roast in the fridge for about a week with no problems, they stay sealed until you open the zip lock opening at the top.They are a bit fiddly to wash and dry for re-using, but that is not a problem for me.

The bags are nice, there are a variety of sizes. Like many others, there are a few instances where my vacuum pump finds it difficult to make a seal and get the air out, but I've managed eventually.The bag was advertised to come with clips, but I didn't get any.

Great selection of sizes enabling more efficient use of freezer space. Also good value.

To get the air out you need to manoeuvre the bag around until it works, so it's a bit hit and miss. Once it's aligned properly they seal rather well.I've put cheese, bread & cous cous in them so far.They've stayed sealed for a couple of days & I suppose they would last longer if needed.

I ordered these a little while ago to use with my VacBird and had an opportunity to try them yesterday.I am SO disappointed, it was a struggle to get any one of them to start the seal going and out of 15 bags, NOT ONE remained sealed. The picture was taken a few seconds after all of the air was ‘sucked’ out. I then watched it refill immediately.They went straight in the bin!I won’t be buying again.They seem sturdy enough but that doesn’t help much when they don’t work!

I love these so much that I have now purchased these twice.They're sturdy, easy to use and come in a few sizes for your needs.Price point is very good too.The one's I have used so far have stayed 'suckered' making them easy to store.They also prevent freezer burn.Would recommend.
