Great Product
I've had this now for a couple of months. It is a well designed product. It keeps my coffee hot all morning and a few times that I have used it for something cold it does that too. The unit does not leak. The lid securely screws on and the tab for drinking easily snaps in place. The tab is double hinged and folds mostly all the way back to the side of the container. When drinking it stays in place, so no need to worry about it falling forward and hitting you in the face or having to hold it. I like the slightly squared off tapered (slight hour glass) design. It makes it easy to hold comfortably and makes it harder to slip out of your hand. The other thing I like about it is that it is narrow enough that when I am walking I can hold it from the top comfortably. The finish is first class and another nice feature is the recessed rubber pad on the bottom. The two minor cons I have with it are: 1. Its tall so it does not fit directly under a Keurig coffee maker. So I just make the coffee in a cup and pour it in after its made. 2. I drive a Honda Odyssey and it does not fit securely in the console cup holders. I have to use the pull out cup holders for larger cups. That holds it from tipping over but so-so. Bottom line in the car, I keep the lid shut while not taking a sip.If they made a proportionally larger 24oz+ size, I'd buy a couple for use on my bike.

Wonderful product.
I am so glad I brought this mug before my camping trip. I camped for 11 days and the temps in the nights were between 20-40 deg. The water at the campsite was freezing cold. On the 2nd night, I filled this mug with hot water and left it in the car with the night temp at 22 deg. The next day morn to my immense surprise, the water in the mug was warm. If you fill this mug with hot water....like from the hot water tap for tea/noodles at the stores/cafes....the water was warm even after 10 hrs in cold temp...that is something for a little light thing like this mug. It is also super light and there were no leaks as long as the lid is secured properly. I carried hot water in it and used it to mix with the cold water to warm up the drinking water on those cold hiking days. The one thing I noticed is that, if you let the mug dry without cleaning it after finishing the contents that could leave behind a residue...say hot chocolate, it is not easy to clean due to the narrowness of the mug. I did not get around to cleaning the mug for at least a few hours after the first hot chocolate drink and there was a ring of residue that took a bit of cleaning to get rid off. Lesson learnt...the next time, I filled it with just a little bit of water after finishing the drink, shook it a good bit and discarded the water and then did the proper cleaning later on.I knew from reading all the reviews that the lip of this mug was odd and I concur. I found it easier to drink out of it without the lid. Now, if they could add a foldable/pushable extendable sprout that can be used when needed. I have another 2 week hiking trip coming up and this mug is on the packing list.

nice mug, it keeps the coffee hot BUT it's too tall and to skinny so it dances in my car cup holder. Any heavy step on the brake and that thing flies out of the cup holder...

It's the lid...
The mug itself is extremely high quality. The mechanism for the top seal (Part that flips up) is also high quality and the way it flips back out of the way is fantastic. It kept my coffee scalding hot for the entirety of a 2 hour commute. Almost everything about this mug is great... except one of the most important parts is poorly engineered. It's the port which you drink out of, kind of important; With a hot beverage I either scalded my lips or dribbled coffee down my chin. My commute this morning was pretty frustrating as I tried to enjoy my coffee but couldn't seem to have an actual satisfying 'sip' of coffee without an issue. The Problem is that the mouth hole is recessed slightly but there is no 'lip' or 'ledge' with which to place your bottom lip. You either have to create a seal with your lips and scald them with hot coffee or rest your lip on the rounded edge which you cannot get a good seal with and dribble it down your chin. When the mug is completely full it's not as bad because the angle is better but as you get to about half way point you have to tip the mug more resulting in the aforementioned frustrations.Maybe you will have better success with the lid, perhaps it's my lip shape.. Either way, I love everything about this mug except that I can't use it for hot beverages. I will use it for cold beverages but I don't drink those nearly as often so it won't get used much.

High quality not usaully found any more.
Definely a high quality product. Built to last. Keeps drinks hot or cold for long perids of time. Fits in holder, backpack, tool bag. Excellent finish. Easy screw cap. Easy to clean. Drinking dispenser could be better but okay. Bought 2. Definitely would reccomend to buy. I will be looking at other products from this manufacturer.
