Warning - does not work with B&O H6's. The connector itself is too wide to fit high up enough into the H6's to work properly, (though, to be fair, you really do have to push the wire up a lot into the H6's - at least the 1st gen - to get it to work).

Does this aux cable fit most cases? I have a life proof case and have had a hard time finding cables that would fit my case.

Hello, R,Syncwire AUX cable is designed to fit most aftermarket cases, but it cannot fit the lifeproof case. The product description has pointed out it.Superb FitEach aux jack enables use with pretty much any phone or tablet case (except Lifeproof case). No need to remove cases during use.

Why would this cord only play music and not voice audio through my headphones?

Because you need a 4 wire cable for microphone capability. This cable only has 3 wires in the following configuration also known as Tip- ring - sleve #1 sleve= a common ground wire #2 ring= a signal wire for left ear #3 tip= a signal wire for the right ear. You need a tip + ring + ring + sleve cable.
