Sturdy 40 lb Weighted Jacket – Perfect Fit and High Quality!
I’m very happy with this 40 lb weighted jacket! The quality is excellent — very sturdy and well-made. The weights are filled with sand/fine iron, and it feels evenly distributed. I’m 5’1” and 130 lbs, and as you can see in the picture, it fits me perfectly. The jacket is adjustable with a velcro belt, which makes it super easy to get a snug and comfortable fit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a durable, well-fitting weighted jacket!

Works, cheap, decent for price.
This is an adjustable weighted vest, just as advertised. Mine came with 20 individual 1LB bags filled with what is likely sand. The vest fits snuggly and can be used for a variety of things. I mostly use it for weighted walking/cardio. My only complain is that it is not the easiest to fit the weights into the vest. Adjusting the weights can be a pain but once it is dialed in, the good news is those weights are snug and wont fall out. So that makes it secure for physical activity, kind of a trade off of necessity for the nature of the vest. If you are crafty you could probably make weights for it yourself using lead shot if you wanted it to be heavier. But honestly, I would imagine for most people 20LB is a decent starter vest. I dont see a need for much more, as I am not actually an athlete, so this is perfect for me!

Update: Broke after 15 uses, but seller was responsive
UPDATE: As you can see from below description, a couple of the seams in the vest started to unravel with just 15 or so uses. However, I contacted the seller, and they sent me a replacement vest which seems to be holding up pretty well. As a result, I have updated my review to reflect: a responsive seller who stands by its product; a well-built and solid vest, with well-designed weight pockets that should last a long time. I can recommend this vest now. Aside from the initial quality control issues/problems I experienced, I think it's still the best weight vest I can find for a reasonable price. Original writeup is below; downgrade to one star due to the following: I used it only about 15 times and using only 30 lbs of the maximum 40 lbs capacity, and you can see from the attached pictures that the vest is already starting to fall apart. I've only used it for walking on my treadmill indoors, and you can see that it just doesn't seem to be very well made. I am writing the seller/manufacturer and will update this based on their response. If it's not favorable, my one star downgrade remains. Hopefully they'll do the right thing since I only bought it four months ago and it's received very light usage. In the mean time I DO NOT recommend it. OK, got that off my chest. I'll be 61 years old soon, hence, a senior citizen, AKA "an old man" as my daughters sometimes call me. I bought the vest to round out the equipment I have in my home gym. I wanted something I could adjust the weight on, and wear while working in my yard, around the house, or walking on my treadmill. Some say this chafes, but it really doesn't. Not if you wear a shirt. Of course it'll chafe if you wear it bare against your skin because it is solidly built, with very good seams, and heavy duty quality materials. The weights that came with it (I got the 40 pound vest) where all in the box, and they fit PERFECTLY into the various pockets for them. So this tells me two things: 1. The manufacturing tolerances for both the vest and the individual weight packs are precise, and demonstrative of good quality construction; and, 2. It's going to take a little bit of patience and care when you're putting the weights in. Taking them out is no problem. And putting them in is no problem either if you follow this advice: Start by putting the ones at the front and/or back bottom row in first while you're holding up the vest with one hand, or propped up against something; then move on to putting weights in the top row of the vest. This makes it so much easier and makes the job quick. It doesn't smell. But since I wear a cotton shirt underneath it while I'm working out, I think eventually some of the sweat may work it's way into the vest, at which point a light hand soaking/wash may be recommended. But this is normal for anything that comes into contact with the human body. It's a great buy and fits perfectly on my 5' 7", 145 pound frame.

80 and 100 pound comparison
I bought the 80-pound vest 2.5 years ago. I used it nearly every day for squats until my cat decided it would make a good litter box. I figure I got my money's worth out of it, and it was time for a better one anyway, so I ordered the 100-pound. I didn't order the 100-pound because I need that much weight. I got it because I wanted the steel weights instead of the sandbags that come with the 80-pound and lower weight vests. The 80-pound served me well. There was a tear in the shoulder strap similar to what another reviewer posted. I was okay with that because it was not going to come apart completely. Like I said, I used it nearly every day. My main complaint about the 80- was that the sand bags were so difficult to get in and out of the pockets that I never bothered to change the weight and just kept it about 65 pounds. You can see in the pictures how much bigger the sand bags are. The 80- vest is much larger than the 100+. The steel weights are very easy to get in and out of the pockets. The sand bags are all 3 pounds. The steel ones are 3 and 1.5 pounds. The 80- comes is one piece and has padded shoulders. It isn't adjustable and hangs at my waist and I'm 6'4". The 100+ comes in two pieces (pictured) and does not have pads in the shoulders. The 100+ is adjustable. I tried wearing it at the shortest setting but I couldn't reach the straps that go around you to secure it. I let it out maybe 3 inches front and back and now it sits a couple inches above my waist. The 100+ is a much snugger fit which is great. The 80- was too loose to do push-ups with but I can use the 100+ for that no problem. I definitely prefer my new 100-pound vest over the older one. Obviously the price jumps up quite a bit when you go from 80 to 100 pounds. When I bought the 80 I think the 100 was about double the price of the 80 but right now the 100 is only $150. I think that's a pretty good deal for a versatile, durable piece of equipment that I'll use every day. Even if you need less than 80 pounds the 100 pound vest better if you can handle the price. The main drawback for the 80- is how tight the weights fit in the pockets and the size. If you're a smaller person the 80-pound is going to be very large on you. I don't know if the lighter ones are just as big or not. They could be smaller and have fewer pockets. I suspect the 120 is exactly like the 100 because there are enough pockets to hold 46 three-pound weights. That would make the vest 138 pounds plus the weight of the vest which is probably about 5 pounds empty. So to truly be 150 pounds the vest would need 4 more pockets. Mine came with 103.5 pounds of weights-23 3-pound and 23 1.5-pound and there are 46 pockets but they will all take the 3-pound weights. I'd give the 80-pound 4 stars because of the tight pockets. The 100-pound costs more but the advantages are worth it. Now if I can just keep it out of the reach of my cat....

Stiching of pouches for weight is poor and they come out when you try to fit the weight inside the many pouches…Also no shoulder support so you will feel the marks on your shoulders after using it for a little while. Design should be rethought.

Es un producto bueno y confiable, el ajuste es muy bueno y que el peso ya venga incluido es increíble, son 20 bolsas que dan 10kg si van todas montadas, así que es muy ajustable al gusto
