KOWOOD Tongue and Groove Set of 2 Pieces 1/2 Inch Shank Router Bit Set 3 Teeth Adjustable T Shape Wood Milling Cutter

Almost perfect but close enough
I purchased this tongue and groove set to make cabinet doors. These bits had good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. You definitely need to make test cuts to get everything to fit tightly. So I started by cutting the grooves. That was the easy part. The hardest part was adjusting the router height for the tongue. Each adjustment I made left a lip that was about a millimeter. After making numerous adjustments I decided to just leave the settings with the lip as all I needed to do was break off the lip and then sand down that area. Due to not being able to get a perfect fit the rail and stiles did not fit snugly. But since I was going to glue them anyway I was ok with not having a snug fit. These router bits were very sharp. I chose the 1/2 in shank because I read where some people that had the 1/4 in shank had their router bit bend. I didn’t want to risk that so I went with the thicker shank. I made my rail and stiles using the Bosch 1617 router and the Bosch router table.

Works fine.
I bought it for my RV cabinet doors project on my newly purchased Bosch router and table. The material is poplar. The groove piece works perfectly to cut along the grain. However, the tongue piece seems not sharp enough, which I have to hold the workpiece very hard against the fence to prevent it to be kicked off touching considering poplar is a relatively soft material? I also have to add that thin washer included to make the tongue width to be 1/4. This is my first time to use this type of bit without any previous experience on any other similar brand. The pushing off force might be natural because of the bit cutting twice amount of wood then groove and also cutting against the wood grain. It worked finally with satisfaction for my paint grade DIY cabinet doors with a few minor defects.

Ok.
Got these to make cabinet doors. No matter what I did, I always seemed to get tear out when grooving already tongued rails. Never could adjust them just right to prevent leaving a 1/16 to 1/32 inch thick layer of wood on the edge.

Very functional
This purchase was for me to make tongue and groove siding out of rough sawn pine for my new screened in porch. These worked great. I have milled 18 10’ boards so far with no problems and the bits are just as sharp as when they arrived.

Works well, ut you must disassemble and clean it first
These worked fine, but I noticed the tongue cutters were not parallel. I took it apart and noticed that there was metallic grit on the bearing on one side, causing a tilt. After cleaning it and reassembling, the cutters were parallel.
