I have low vision and use these for writing. I just wish they were a little less bold.

Bought these for an 80+ year old friend with macular degeneration. The foundation for the blind recommended them. They are very bold and stand out. Unlike the cheaper larger number of pens the have never bled through papers which helps not confuse writings when using both sides if paper.

My eyes are thanking me❣️ These pens are exactly as described. As my eyesight slowly diminishes, I’m working hard as not over-tax them by squinting when taking notes and then reading later. I don’t like using several sheets of paper when using another pen (ahem!) bleeds through the other side (good bye!). I take tons of notes as an instructor and life learner. Great for when I do shopping list and especially labeling! I reorganized my kitchen cabinets and placed most easy reach ingredients in small bins- the BOLD THICK BLACK ink stands out and extremely clear! This is my second order and I truly should have ordered several package at a time. When other people see me using them, they are so impressed, I end up giving them away. These 20/20 pens are a great value and feels good in the hands with enough room to grip the pen. Great as a gift but more than that.. a truly great gift for my eyes!

While these pins are convenient for those of us with low vision, the ink does not bleed through our paper, they do dry out very quickly and the felt tips tend to smash very easily.

I was introduced to these pens by a low vision counselor. They write more like a marker than a pen, which was what I needed. People think they are sharpies when I use them, but there are differences. These pens do not bleed through the paper as sharpies do. (great feature!) They do not have the alcohol smell of sharpies. The disadvantage is that unlike sharpies the writing is not waterproof and will smear if wetness is introduced. That also means, unlike sharpies, if you get it on something you didn't mean to, you can wash it out with water. They do make a fatter line than sharpies, and you do have to write larger than normal. Great for people with low vision, or to make easily seen labels.

These were bought for my mother who has AMD. She finds them much easier to use because of the bold line and because they don’t bleed. A bit pricey but happy to have found them.
