I gave 2 stars just for the idea and the lights. The wool would not stay on even after using the whole bottle of glue provided it destroyed the lantern by this point and made it all hard. Shame as it would if been such a nice light had it gone to plan.

Who is giving this positive reviews? Look, we craft a lot in this house... and when the instructions said to adhere balls of fluff with craft glue them bundle it tight with yarn to dry I knew this would be a disaster. First of all, the lamp is junk. It’s flexible and as you apply the adhesive it crumples. Then when bound tight the lamp loses its shape entirely...and gets stuck that way because, glue. The two images are after unbundling the yarn. You can see that the adhesive did literally nothing to hold the fluff. I can’t believe what a waste of money this was. This might be the worst thing I’ve ever purchased from Amazon.

Firstly I had to send back the first one I purchased because it was missing the fluff to make the cloud 🙄Cue second kit, everything was present in the box. It was a nightmare to make. As others have said, the fluff stuff doesn’t stick properly even though the glue alone made a big old sticky mess on my daughters hands (and table and chair)So after waiting for it to dry and then waiting for another Amazon delivery of the flat batteries needed for the remote (I should have realised before we started!) the bloody thing doesn’t even work. So now it is just a dangly ornament. And the fluff keeps falling off…..

Bought this as a Christmas present for our 9yo who is very good with crafts. She likes being meticulous and correctly following a process to see an enjoyable outcome. This didn’t fit the bill.Following the provided instructions, I noticed she was starting to get frustrated.1st, the amount of glue provided was nowhere near enough. We ended up having to purchase additional craft glue to complete the project. Next, the “puff” does not stick well. We glued…and reglued…and reglued, and pieces continue to fall off. Finally, after getting it all put together, it doesn’t illuminate. Tried replacing batteries in both LED housing and remote to no avail.Cue one unimpressed and disappointed 9 year old, and some frustrated parents. Ended up tossing in the trash.

I built these with my two granddaughters, 7 & 4 yrs, and it was a good time. However the clouds do not come in sheets and are cotton that you glue in clumps, and the stickers for the face did not stick under there own power. Over all it was a good experience.
