I just had blonde highlights added to my fine, dark brown hair. My hair bleaches quickly so the highlights came out ridiculously light and they were badly done. I could have cried.In my desperation I bought this product to try to tone the brightness down. I wasn't expecting much but after using this product I now have beautiful shiny golden highlights that blend in with my hair perfectly. I am so happy.I will use this once a week until my next appointment (at a different salon!).The product itself was easy to use, didn't drip and was left on for 10 mins. I used gloves to avoid yellow hands!Definitely recommend.

Used this to tone down my blonde coloured hair as it was too light. Followed the simple instructions ( these are actually in small print on the back of the tube, written in English. They are quite hard to find as the print is so small. A few reviewers said there were no instructions but there are). Applied to pre-shampooed hair, left for ten minutes then rinsed. I did dampen my hair before use and wore gloves. Very easy to use and also not messy to apply as also stated by some reviewers. Great result, nice subtle blonde colour and enough left in the tube for another two applications at least. Would recommend and will definitely buy again

This is so much easier to use than a temporary colour I had been using previously. Its thick balm texture means you can put it on with your fingers and it won’t drip. It doesn’t stain your hands either. The only disappointment is it doesn’t leave my hair well conditioned; I’d even say it’s a bit drying and I always condition afterwards.Another thing to mention is, as with pretty much all temporary colour I think, repeated use will lead to a build-up of colour on your hair. I don’t mind that as I am currently using this in the Golden Gloss colour once a fortnight or so to help blend in my greys, which it is reasonably effective at doing. The colour is a nice pale blonde. If you leave it on longer than 10 minutes it will be a stronger colour although perhaps less natural looking.And finally, I was pleased at the minimal packaging. It arrived as just the tube, no unneeded box, gloves or leaflet. I have several pairs of left over gloves from other products, plus they are easy to reuse and also to buy separately if needed, so I think not to provide them is a good decision.

I bleached my hair the other day and the tint i used was great at getting rid of the yellow/orange but left my hair a little too grey/white for my taste. I deduced to give this golden gloss a go and the colour is amazing! I actually mixed it with conditioner so it wouldn't be too strong and the colour is perfect. It has just given it a more natural tint and put the right amount of gold back into my hair. Not sure how long it will last but it was so easy to use and i didn't need much, so can easily be used again. Really impressed!!!!

I have dyed afro 3c ginger blonde hair. Attempted to reduce brassiness with purple toner shampoo that didn't work. I didn't leave this in as long as advised only for 5 mins as I could see the colour was not coming out as expected and the actual colouring was chocolate brown which raised suspicions for me. This colour came out strawberry blonde/light rose gold blonde which has covered my hair but no way near the colour expected.Can't recommend as not a true colour match even for a wash in colour. But works well if you want strawberry blonde.

I have been looking for a toner as my blonde highlights are too bright for my complexion. This has slightly strawberry blonde tones and is perfect. I had to YouTube the instructions for the first application, it’s easy, in between applications I mix a small amount with conditioner in my palm, and leave on for 5 minutes to top it up. It doesn’t stain hands. One tube lasts me a month.

I first tried this for the recommended 10 minutes and got nothing. I then tried for what ended up being almost 30 minutes (I got sidetracked!) and got.... nothing. Well, maybe the most subtlest of subtle changes, but nothing anyone would notice. Now to be fair, I can't find anywhere that it claims to work on grey hair, but a lot of reveiwers seem to think it does. Not on mine.Dead easy to use, easy to control mess, will stain towels and clothes so be aware. Smells a bit strong, but it fades quite quickly. Leaves hair nice and soft.My tube arrived in languages excluding English, so I had to go hunting on the interweb to find out how to use it. No mention anywhere of doing a skin allergy test before use, so I didn't and am still here to tell the tale.Really disappointing - this came recommended. I hate being grey, but I generally keep my hair quite short, so I'd have to have it re-done every cut, so every 6 to 8 weeks, and that's too much money and faff.

It is not golden it is pink blonde and i dont like it, but it does condition hair and gives it nice shine .
