GENUINE Lexmark 100 100XL Series Printhead 14N0700 / 14N1339 - NEW

I had struggled with the original printhead in my Lexmark printer for a long time, trying to coax more life into it. I finally had to order a new printhead and the new one works great! So easy to install ... and it arrived earlier than expected which was great! I bought the "official" Lexmark brand printhead since so many of the reviews for the refurbished or "compatible with" printheads were negative and seemed difficult to return. I had no problems whatsoever with the new printhead I bought.

I replaced my printer with HP laser type

It got my Lexmark printer working again!

I installed this printhead on a Lexmark Impact S305 and it worked for about 10 pages and then it stopped working. I returned it expecting a full refund for a defective printhead, but boy was I surprised. I paid $79.90 plus taxes, but was only refunded $15.38. Original Supply charged me $71.91 for a restocking fee for a faulty product. This is outrageous! Don’t be suckered in! I now see that the same product costs >$119 for the same printhead. Don’t trust these scammers!

Is working well. You may have to replace the ink cartridges that were in your old printhead. They might have dried up. Mine did. When I inserted fresh ink cartridges, the new printhead was fine. Arrived quickly.

I don't think the problem I have with this printhead is anything more than bad engineering of the printer. Nearly impossible to keep the printheads clean without using most of your ink for cleaning. Now I just print in black only and it works fine, but I still have to have the color cartridges in or it refuses to work. I think I'm doe with ink jet printers.

Since installed print is much darker on paper and letters are blurry on some copies. I can’t seem to correct this.
