Nitto285/35R19 103W NT555RII BW

Finally found an affordable tire I can drive on daily no matter rain or shine that will actually hook when I launch at wide open throttle. I’ve recently tried the mt et street r’s and they too hook very well however they aren’t near as good in the rain as the nitto not to mention the nitto is much cheaper. I now use the et street r’s on my 17” drag wheels for the track/racing and these nitto rII’s on my 19” factory wheels. These are perfect for daily driving on and still have the confidence they will hook up if a spur of the moment race may present itself. Great quality tires so far I’ve put about 6k miles on mine and they still look new. Btw I’m using them on a 2019 mustang gt 10 speed makes right at 500rwhp on motor and well over 600rwhp on the bottle.

Picked up a set of these NT555R2’s in 285/35r19 for my c6 corvette, narrow body. They fit great on the oem rim. I am running NT555G2 in front. Sweet spot for me was 30 psi front, 26 psi rear. My car is a cammed ls3, auto. This set up will dead hook 1st gear from a 20 roll. Ride is very smooth and stable. These feel remarkably like a street tire. I never drive it in the rain so no comment on wet traction. 10/10 would recommend.

These tires have been my solution to wheelspin & wheelhop on my ~700hp rear wheel drive car. It was near undrivable (at full throttle) with just summer performance tires. Now it hooks and goes! the downside is that these don't last 10's of thousands of miles but that isn't what they were made for. I prefer being happy with my car and having to buy 2 new tires every year to being unhappy and getting 4 years (of unhappiness) out of 2 tires. These are mostly for the drive wheels, and are not needed for the non-drive wheels. Nitto makes a companion tire (the 555G2) for the fronts, or you can use whatever you want.

Put these on a 750HP 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. Night and day difference compared to a ultra summer rubber OEM tire. I can finally use 1st and 2nd gears. Makes driving the car a lot more enjoyable not to mention safer! Don't notice any loss in high speed stability.
