I consider these a must-have for electrical testing and prototyping, especially for using cheap logic analyzers or the EspoTek Labrador. Alligator clips work great for rough stuff, but for clipping onto individual pins you can't beat Minigrabber-style IC hooks. These have silicone wire insulation that allows them to be very flexible and heat resistant. Definitely pick up some extra-long male headers so you can plug them into a breadboard if you need to

The silicon wires are less stiff than the plastic clad wires. The Grabbers work well and are securely soldered onto the wires. Some of the others I have that are similar to this product break off at the solder joints after just a few uses.

Amazon says I have to write something. I do not think that is necessary after giving a "GREAT" rating.

Used two times to plug into breadboard. Pins bend too easily and break off.
