The past three months while my wife and I were on a very caloric-restrictive diet that essentially removed all carbs, iodized salt, and refined sugars, we still ate very well and each lost 25 pounds.My wife substituted this palm rice in her recipes that required rice. It looks and has a very similar texture as cauliflower rice, but not the flavor. So, if you are interested in cutting your carbs with a healthy option, this is legit. It's essentially flavorless (that's why I gave flavor four stars, because it really does not have a flavor), so it takes on whatever seasonings you use to cook your meal.

Love this as a rice substitute. However, they are very slow to deliver. My last order was canceled by them. I have ordered again and weeks later it still hasn’t shipped. May cancel if not shipped by next week. Order direct from the company.

I follow directions and submerge it in milk for 30 minutes before rinsing. Decreases the tanginess from the citric acid. I pan fry it to dry it up. Unlike cauliflower rice that has the funky scent and taste of cauliflower, this does not have a scent and has a little more chew after cooking.

This product is shredded hearts of palm, so it tastes like shredded hearts of palm. I put diced chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, seasoning etc on it and it tastes just fine to me. If you expect it to taste like rice, you will be disappointed, but it’s a good product. I don’t think you really need to boil it like you do with rice. I put mine in the insta-pot, then keep it in the fridge and it’s the basis for a quick and yummy meal. I love this stuff.

The riced Palmini was great. You have to rinse it first than sautéed with spices, veggies etc...I sense those who didn’t like taste etc didn’t rinse and cook. It’s more like a Cous Cous than a rice in consistency, and the flavor is dictated by spices and added ingriedients. It’s filling and can make a healthy dish filling while adding a great non-starchy vegetable to your diet...only downside hearts of palm can be expensive due to how it’s grown and produced etc; price aside it’s really a good product.

The first time I ordered this product it was great. I love the product, tastes great, and a great alternative to keto noodles. The second time I ordered the product what I received was old, two months away from expiration date and it smells completely rancid. I obviously received a spoiled old batch and I can not return the product per their policy. Kind of sad because I love the product but I'm scared to order another time if I'm going to get another spoiled batch and waste my money.

I first purchased Palmini low carb linguine before trying this and the products are an absolute game changer! I simply use this product in place of pasta or rice. When you are ready eat, use a colander with small holes as the instructions tell you to rinse thoroughly with water before consuming. As it is the same consistency as rice, the pieces are small. We do a lot of "bowls" in my house. This serves as a great base. We just add some protein (chicken or shrimp), along with other veggies and it is just as satisfying without the carbs! So happy to have discovered this product! We now have both on subscribe and save as the price is cheaper than getting it at my local grocer.

I am normally pleased with Palmini products. I ordered one month ago. Package was delivered today. box was very damaged and taped. Some of the foil packs were damaged and half empty. Box stank to high heaven. My rating is a 3 because there is no option for replacement or return for this product.
