The best wild honey 🍯
The Only Wild HoneyWas searching for a good honey on amazon and while doing it found this brand. Read nearly all the reviews: negative first and the positives later and then made a decision to give it a try. I will divide my review in different segments for easy understanding.1. Shipping: After placing the order within 30 minutes I got the notification that the honey was shipped. That was seriously lighting fast.2. Delivery: The honey was delivered one day before the promised day so that was a good factor.3. Packaging: The honey comes in a glass jar with label which is not plastic laminated, everything was either recyclable or compostable. The box in which it came was rock solid and was filled with used notebook of some kid . I will say the packaging of the shipment was really good considering they avoided plastic. The tape used to package the box is BOPP tape, hope they get rid of that too as that’s the only plastic they have used.4. THE HONEY: The moment I opened the jar I realized that there is something different, I have tried many honey brands but it was seriously different. It has a very earthy, organic smell to it. You can say it smells like forest or trees. The honey is THIN as they have mentioned everywhere, not a deal breaker for me as we all know what other companies are doing to make their honey thick: using of corn syrup, Chinese additives, sugar and god knows what. When I looked through the jar, I found the honey is not crystal clear and is opaque (Called the customer care to understand this, and the founder personally address the concern), the suspended particles are flower pollen which makes this honey so good. Have never seen that in any other brand yet. Now the taste: The moment I put half a spoon of honey on my tongue I realized what kind of fake honey we are getting all across the market. The honey has the real taste which we used to get in our childhood days. The taste is very flowery and earthy, you will have to try it to understand it.5. Customer Care: There is a phone no mentioned on the Jar so I called them to understand why the honey is not thick and why the honey is opaque. To my surprise the customer care is directly handled by the owner of the brand and we discussed about the honey and the social impact for at least 30 minutes. It was a welcome change to see that there are founders standing by their products.6. Social Impact: It was great to learn that the brand exclusively works with Murmu Adivasis of Cooch Behar and working on their upliftment by giving them work opportunities. So, we know whenever anyone is buying honey from TBIC the money goes to the right place.7. WILD HONEY: One of the most important things. A lot of brands claim that their honey is wild but if you check their label it will say from the beekeepers, if the honey is coming from domesticated bees who can that be wild? I checked TBIC’s website, their social media and while talking to the owner found out that this honey comes from actual wild bees of the forest. That’s make a huge difference.

My Go-To Honey For Everything!
TLDR: My family is currently on our 8th bottle of TBIC Eastern Himalayan Forest Honey, and this product represents the best value in fair-trade natural honey in India right now. We use it as a breakfast honey, as a base for home remedies, and even as a sweetener in cooking.I have been using TBIC Honey since October 2020.After a lifetime of using store-bought honey, I started sampling artisanal small batch honey in 2018. When the honey adulteration scandal broke in India, I was done with the store bought honey, and switched exclusively to independent brands. We initially started using TBIC as a breakfast honey, and even today, our mornings are incomplete without it. We use it on toast, in green tea, and even in my daughter's porridge. In the 2020 Christmas season, I used TBIC honey in my mulled wine. Mulled Wine has been a Christmas custom in my household for many years now, and 2020's was the best. The fresh, floral bouquet of this wild, unprocessed honey lifted the aroma of the mulling spices giving the Gluhwein a fuller flavour than I've achieved in years past. Honey has been my "secret ingredient" in mulled wine - a substitute for cane sugar - and I believe that TBIC honey has taken my mulled wine game to the next level altogether.Beyond a sweetener, this honey found a more important use a few weeks ago. At the height of the second wave of the Coronavirus Pandemic, my daughter started having a a dry cough one night. It got so bad, that my wife and I were debating the risk / reward of driving her to a hospital, as all the better hospitals in our area were COVID care facilities. As a last resort, my wife put one teaspoon of TBIC Eastern Himalayan Honey on my daughter's tongue, and the cough stopped immediately. A few weeks later, I had the same experience. I have since been using this honey as a base for home remedies that require honey, and in my view, have been getting better results than with mass market honey. In communicating with the seller, I have discovered that this honey is fair trade and sustainably sourced, and each bottle that you purchase supports marginalised communities in North Eastern India. My family has made a permanent switch to TBIC's range of honey. I strongly urge you to do the same too!

Good...but
Good tasting honey. It has froth too, which is very welcome. But, I think there is not too much of a difference in taste of say, a Dabur / Saffola Honey and this one. However, there is a substantial difference in their prices.
