The SanDisk 2TB Hard Drive is a perfect mix of speed, space, and reliability. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it easy to carry for work or travel. The transfer speeds are excellent, allowing large files to move quickly without lag. I’ve used it extensively for storing videos, photos, and backups, and it has performed flawlessly with no overheating or connection issues.

Great, fast snappy and has become my daily driver as extended drive for my macbook and ps5. Can’t believe ssd has come this long way to fit in pockets. During testing on apfs file ststem I am getting around 900mbps. These are not thunderbolt compliant but I guess still good enough speed, as thunderbolt ones are crazy expensive.

While it claims up to 1050MBps read and 1000MBps write, my actual tests using the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test showed around 800MBps for both read and write speeds. It's worth noting that I formatted the drive in exFAT, which is compatible with both Mac and Windows devices, as opposed to APFS (exclusive to Apple devices), which might yield higher speeds.In a real-world test, transferring a 23.65GB file to the SSD took about 47 seconds, and copying it back to my laptop took 32 seconds, both over a Type-C port. While these speeds are lower than the theoretical maximums, they're still quite fast for typical everyday use. For normal users, who aren’t constantly moving massive files, you’ll find it transfers 1GB files in a blink.If you're looking for blazing speeds, formatting it in APFS on an Apple device will give you better performance. But for most users, especially those working across platforms, the real-world speeds of around 700MBps read and 500MBps write in exFAT are more than adequate. Overall, this SSD is a good balance of portability and speed—perfect for everyday use!

Wonderful projectI’m facing problem when the product is arrived and it’s not connected to the iPhone, but after the contacting with the customer care and asked me to replace that product from the scientist authorised service Centre and Sandisk authorised service Centre replace my product and now it’s totally fine, very perfectly, and the speed is also good. If you want to lose your data, this SSD is perfect for you !!After purchasing it, I thought upgrading to an SSD from the old spinning disk drives would give me better reliability, as traditional drives tend to corrupt over time. But to my surprise, this SSD suddenly stopped being detected without any warning and showed a “No Media” error—with no effective troubleshooting options. After some research, I discovered it’s a known issue. SanDisk’s website offers a few basic fixes and then advises users to contact third-party recovery services, which can be expensive. This product is unreliable and cannot be trusted.
