However, be cautious of the seller who intentionally ships it without the “free skewers.” When you request a replacement, the pickup agent refuses to collect it, citing the same issue—the skewers are missing from the box, which is exactly why you’re returning it in the first place. As a result, the pickup gets rejected. Many customers give up at this stage and end up keeping the product without the skewers, which is precisely what the seller is counting on. Fortunately, I have plenty of patience. I escalated the issue to Amazon Support, and the pickup agent returned—this time without checking for the missing skewers—and successfully collected the product. The replacement unit arrived with the skewers included. For anyone wondering, the product itself is genuine and sold by authorized Hamilton Beach resellers on Amazon. I verified this with their customer service before purchasing and successfully registered the product for a 2-year warranty. Aside from the missing-skewer issue, everything checks out perfectly, and the product is worth every penny.

The product was too good to handle . Easy to make sandwiches. Cleaning was super easy to use . It’s non sticky so we can easy to take breads in proper way. It’s normal in speed . Heat control is very easy as shown in manual . Easy to carry. Normal power consumption. Very happy about purchasing this product .

Highly recommend- I would give this product 10 out of 5 stars if possible. My son’s school lunch prep is so easy with this sandwich maker. Absolutely brilliant product that is easy to operate, doesn’t create a mess, and is super-easy to clean. I bought this product with a bit of skepticism, because I’ve had bad experiences with small sandwich makers in the past, where the sauces and cheese would flow out of the machine and be difficult to clean. The stove-top sandwich makers have horrible non-stick layer. But I wouldn’t be wrong in saying that this is hands-down one of the best appliances I’ve ever bought. It has a superb non-stick layer, and a large lip, which prevents sauces from flowing out. In addition, if you use normal size bread, you can make 4 sandwiches at a time. Even without butter, the sandwiches come out crispy, and it makes a really superb buttered toast. I’ve even grilled blocks of tofu in it with zero stickage, which is quite an achievement. And even when I tried making a grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich, the caramelised jam juices cleaned off as easily as bread crumbs. Clean-up is a piece of cake- soft wet cloth wipe down, and you can blow out the bread crumbs on top of the sink. It’s light and easy to handle and has a nifty clip to hold it closed.

Excellent product. I am using it to make triple bread sandwiches for breakfast. Works fine. Originally did not get the two skewers. However after complaining to customer care I got it. The best feature is its lid licking system. By this you can press the lid on club sandwiches and lock it for best effect. Temperature control is excellent. Cleaning is very easy provided you use it to make sandwiches only( not kababs).Non stick works excellent. Use only wooden spoon to avoid damage to non stick surface.

Initially, the seller sent the product with missing component. But we got the replacement promptly. we have thoroughly enjoyed making sandwiches using it. It is very useful to grill veggies or meat too. One short coming is that there is no oil drip tray which makes cleaning a bit of task. After seeing other reviews, we didn't get any skewers but that's not much of an issue for us.

Great product from hamilton, the sandwiches and toasts are comming out excellent, since its 1400w toasting is pretty quick and clean.

I was kind of skeptical about this thing but am having such a good experience with it. Easy breakfast sandwiches and incredibly easy clean up. If you're like me and hate reading directions, don't overlook that each sandwich apparatus pops out and removes from the main griddle machine for easy cleaning. I didn't notice this until I went through a couple of messy clean ups and it made all the difference. I like spraying a little bit of Pam in the bottom which aids greatly in reducing sticking and improves clean up. Very enjoyable sandwich machine and I'm finding myself using it almost daily. Great recipes on their website. Good bang for your buck considering the utility and low cost. Tips: 1) Don't overload the top tray. Just put as little as possible on top of the egg. If you load stuff in the top tray and then close it, the weight and pressure will push the egg through the seams and you'll get runny egg on the base of the griddle plate making clean up more difficult. I just put cheese on top of the egg, wait about 20 seconds and then gently lay the top muffin/mini bagel and gently let the top tray rest on top and I rarely get egg running out the sides. ***Also, take a fork and pierce the egg yolk so that it flattens out. This will also cause less pressure from a non uniform surface. 2) Go easy on the cheese. Too much cheese will just make a mess. 3) A little bit of Pam spray on the top tray lets the bottom slide release much smoother. I heat mine up while I'm getting everything ready. I let 20-30 secs go by before I put the cheese on top of the egg and this allows it to start cooking and I have much less running from the seams. 4.5 minutes and the sandwich is perfect. Love this gadget. I never knew I'd use it as much as I do and it's become an almost daily part of my breakfast routine.

hard to find machine. they sell out all the time because they work. the dual feature is great if you want 2 or if you have more than one person who wants one. can also use it just for eggs if you want perfect round ones. very easy to use and cleans fast with just a wipe down

I've had this thing for roughly 2 years now and it still works just as good. While it lacks any sort of temperature control, the grills on it are really quality & it's so easy to use it hardly matters. Turns any sandwich from subpar to almost restaurant quality within 5 minutes. It's easy to clean, I just wipe it down with an alcohol wipe once it's cooled down. It's a bit chunky, but fits fine in my cupboards with a designated spot. Good purchase. I'd recommend coating the bread on your sandwich with some butter though, it tends to over crisp the outside edges sometimes.
