I literally can’t find any info on that in the reviews or answers.** A: Any nap size cover will fit on the 4 inch for 9 inch frame. **Q: Am I supposed to be able to dip to the bottom of 5-gal bucket? I contact the sides before I can suck the last paint out of a pail.** A: problem: most 5 gal. grids (the screen inserted into the bucket) have a crease near the bottom across the width of the grid so it is useful with paint trays. that crease keeps you from pushing a 9 in roller to the bottom of a 5 gal bucket.... solution: you can bend and straighten out that crease easily so the grid is flat for it's entire length, thus your roller will now reach all the way to the bottom.....keep in mind there's reduced clearance on the bottom half of the bucket for your roller frame....avoid hitting the sides of the bucket with the roller frame as you dip the roller when you've been painting out of the bucket for a few hours...why? you'll knock half dry scabs of paint off the sides when you do that and they fall into and contaminate the remaining paint . It'll end up in your roller and on your walls (40yr pro painter speaking) **Q: Can I use generic rollers with this frame?** A: Any 9 inch roller cover will work.
