We first purchased a step stool from a Big Box store and was quite disappointed. Stool wobbled when opened due to uneven legs and it felt flimsy. The straight back / handle limited full use of the top step and pressed uncomfortably into your legs when standing at the top. We took it back and ordered this one.We couldn't be happier with the purchase. The Delxo stool is of quality construction and feels solid. Stool is firmly grounded when open. The curved, foam cover, chair back / handle not only provides good leg room or seating room on the top step, but it protects the walls when stored in our closet. The large vinyl / rubber covers on each step provides sure non-slip footing when in use. We have used it numerous times since it arrived for painting and decorating projects and as a quick extra chair when visitors arrived. I'm a big guy at 270 lbs and this stool provides a solid base when working from the top step compared to a small 3 step ladder I had used previously.In the "Easy to Fold" category I would have given this step stool 5 stars, but the release catch could be better designed for easier use. It takes a little getting use to in releasing it. The catch would have been better if it was spring loaded and had a bar, tab or button to release it. Not a deal breaker, but it is worth mentioning.

I am over 60 and needed a small ladder in my kitchen to reach my cabinets. I liked the overall look and description of the ladder and it looked as though it would suit me perfectly. It was probably only used 2-3 on a monthly basis. I went to use it on Saturday, and when I stepped onto the top step it broke causing me to fall. I know it's too late to return for a refund, so want to warn any other senior citizen, or anyone really, that this ladder can not be trusted. I wouldn't have given it any stars, but it was required to submit a review.

I simply got tired of moving chairs around to reach into top shelves and cupboards. We do have a step-stool, but it's mostly rusty and covered in paint. In looking over the products available, this 2-Step Folding Ladder seemed to be the most sturdy - and in fact it is, and opens and closes so easily. When you open it, however, you have to pay attention to the top step, and make sure it goes all the way back. When I used it for the first time or two, I noticed that the top step moved slightly forward and back. When I opened it and closed it a couple times, I can see that the top step needed to be secured in place - a bit more than just opening it and begin to step up. With this done, the top step is quite secure.It works great, and most importantly, you feel secure standing on the top step, and putting a star on the tree.

Really comfortable and sturdy.This folds easily and fits between my washer and dryer. It's light to carry, and super easy to fold and unfold smoothly – does need two hands to fold and unfold.My one little complaint is that the hand grip isn't super durable, and has little tears in the back of it after eight months of light use. Even with the little tears, the hand grip is soft, comfortable, and helpful.
