It is shiny chrome like, great product!

Are those spoons exactly like the spoons in this set : wmf 12.9626.6040 20 piece nuova set, silver ?

Of course not...they are the same style (Nuova), but these are "egg spoons" not teaspoons! Egg spoons are about 3/4 the size of a teaspoon so that they can fit comfortably into soft boiled egg shell — a big thing in Germany.

Could you use a small coffee/espresso spoon for soft boiled eggs instead? Are they about the same size?

Depends on the size of your eggs, I guess. I got these for boiled eggs, but we use them for olives, ice cream and a bunch of other little foods. The fact that they're called egg spoons doesn't mean much. Boil an egg and give your espresso spoon a try.
