Chunky heatsinks!
The goods:1. Back panel shield is integrated to the board! Handy!2. Backside (the other side that CPU and RAM mounts) has protective plate! Even better!3. RAM slot is 2 latch model. Much easier to install than ASUS B550I!4. ITX board! Yet has 2 chassis fan controllers there.Bads:1. Accessories are a bit lacking. But who installs multiple SATA drives these days? Especially on ITX builds?2. VRM Heat sinks are too thick. Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP does not fit unless your memory module has low height. Gigabyte B450I was able to accept the cooler with VRM covering orientation. --> Some cases may have problem if you wish to install 240 AIO radiator on the top ventilation set up.3. Outer chunk of the front side M.2 SSD heat sink is not really functional. Additional thermal tape would be needed for it to be actually functional. This is very nice chunky metal piece.4. No front side USB-C type connector. Not a problem if your case do not have USB-C port anyway. But it could be a bummer for some cases.5. No dedicated PWM port for AIO cooler pump control.6. No AURA 5V RGB sync header... but this isn't an ASUS board.Remarks1. Mine came with 2022 BIOS. But Gigabyte have most recent 2023 bios on their product web site.2. Board title appears perfectly on Linux! Did not expect this!3. No WiFi/Bluetooth instability yet. Pop! OS 22.04. Kernel 6.24. One of the chassis PWM connector is rather very small JST type small pin socket rather than typical 4 pin connector. You have to use the converter cable that comes with the board.

It is cheap and it works.
Okay, you wanna hear about my anecdotal experience? I plucked a 5600G in this and was expecting a full weekend of Windows reinstalls and such BS since I was replacing a 4th gen i5. Well, the freaking motherboard posted on the first boot and Windows drove all drivers after two reboots. I may have to give Microsoft some credit for this bit, hey, whatever. I updated the BIOS in five minutes and then updated to Win11 without a tragic story to tell. It worked.More anecdotal evidence? A bought a Gigabyte board because the last one worked without problems for seven years. So I bought another Gigabyte board. Incredible, heh?Wanna have some more nuanced context? Well the BIOS interface is kinda meh. The app center is awful. Guess what? I use those for a few cumulative minutes each year so I don't care.

MB came with F12 BIOS which supported my Ryzen 5600x out of the box
Tried to get qflash working before installing processor or ram but never did get it to work. Turns out I don't think I was waiting long enough before inserting USB stick. If I had to try again I would turn PSU on and wait for 60 seconds before inserting USB. Then wait another 60 seconds before pushing qflash button. In any case, since I couldn't get qflash working I installed all my components (including a Ryzen 5600x) and everything booted up just fine. I then went into BIOS and flashed to the latest F13 and that's when I realized it was taking a minute or so to recognize my USB thumb drive. So maybe if I had waited longer then qflash would have worked initially. In any case, I ordered four sticks of single ranked Crucial Ballistic 3600 memory and this worked perfectly fine on the Aorus Pro AC, just enabled XMP in the BIOS and ram runs perfectly stable at 3600mhz. So for anyone else wondering, this ram is on the official compatibility list and works great... https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B083V93HJG
