I'm using these stakes to secure lightweight garden cages in a slightly windy area of my South Florida garden. They are hefty and seem the perfect length for this job. Easy to install the dangerously sharp tip. I think these could double as a weapon if anyone ever attacks me in my garden. haha. I gave them a final shove in the ground with my foot. They've been in the ground a month now and have not rusted even the slightest in our high humidity, whereas the stakes that came with the cages rusted in days. These 12" galvanized stakes seem to have secured the cages well and I highly recommend them. They are a very affordable way to help protect the investment in my garden.

Had a micro storm come through my property, about 2 weeks ago, where I had six trees fall and this kept my chicken run anchored down even with one where there is a tarp covering over it. The run didn't budge one inch when the winds were 60+ mph while the micro storm went through. Held everything down.

I used these to secure the base / wall on a new above ground pool about 8 months ago. Live in earthquake country so I believe they have already saved the day! They took to hammering them into the ground.

I have these holding in guy wires for several camera posts and they've held up to high winds and rain and haven't slipped a bit. They've only been in for a few months but aren't showing any signs of rust or anything yet.
