Timely word!
Only a few chapters in and have felt this tug on my heart to worship God in spirit and in truth, to return to worshipping Him in purity and adoration.Such a timely word for this year. God often in the midst of difficult and trying times reveals himself to his people and brings forth fruit in the most unexpected ways. He is the God who redeems. I think the book is timely in bringing this word during this pandemic when many of our houses of worship has been closed. We’ve been weaned off the routine of the big stage, big bands, light shows, many things have been stripped away. What I feel when I read this book is a longing and desire to worship again, in a renewed way. A way that has felt distant for some time, a way that has become strange. I felt a longing for spirit led worship and nothing but the sweet presence of God in a room filled with other voices of the saints. Not some choreographed, visually sensational, fog machine and light driven performance. The message is definitely one that is needed to be heard by many. Although only a faithful few may return, that would be enough. The message certainly resonates with the early gospels. I do hope to see the church restored, and with it true worship.

Phenomenal and well needed.
This book should be required reading for every worship and church leader. This word is needed and if listened to could pivot our christian culture.

A Needed Critique from an Insider
Jeremy Riddle authentically and convincingly takes to task Contemporary Christian Worship Music, especially the industry and celebrity culture that has arisen around the art form. While musicians, authors, and scholars from outside the CCM/CWM world have made a cacophony of criticism to the contemporary worship movement, they have rang hollow for anyone in the movement because they always seem to carry a tinge of envy. This is not the case with Riddle’s The Reset. Here we have a Contemporary Worship celebrity looking at his past years of fame and having a Philippians 3:4-8 moment (or as he calls it, an Ecclesiastes moment “it is all vanity!”).Riddle walks the fine but necessary line of embracing the reality that authentic expressions of worship can come from modern instrumentation while sounding the alarm of the industrial complex that has overgrown and poisoned the worship renewal that the Contemporary Worship Movement began as.This is a must-read for every pastor, worship leader, and worship student.

Hidden Manna
Not a standard issue book on worship, but rather so much more. This book contains many heartfelt beautiful secrets shared. It is full of pure gold in the form of many keys. This is hidden manna honey for worshippers who want to touch the heart of Yahuah, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, & the Holy Spirit. What an amazing book & what an amazing young man. I'm so very very very very very proud of him!!!!

What are we doing wrong?
Jeremy gets down to earth real quick in this book. If you're sensitive about the subject of worship vs entertainment you might not want to read this. Jeremy says it like it is and calls out worship leaders who are obsessed with their 'brand' and making it as musicians instead of being priests who are ushering people into the presence of God to give Him glory; and the most impressive part of this book is that Jeremy does it all in love! He's not bashing worship leaders, he's calling them to rise above the 'worldly pleasures' of being musicians who want the spotlight and being worship leaders who help facilitate an atmosphere for praise to the Almighty! That is a very unique gift. Thank you Jeremy for wanting to raise up worship leaders and not just musicians.Bonus: if you want more content like this, Jeremy did a podcast with Matt Redman called "Redman and Riddle" where they discuss a lot of topics covered in this book. Excellent content for any worship leader.

Extremely stirring! Convicting and Uplifting all at the same time. I couldn’t put it down!
It’s been a long time since a read a book that was as captivating as this one. I think the last time I picked up a book that had me as captivated as this was right after I surrendered my life to Jesus at 17 and was given the book “God Chasers” by Tommy Tenny. Jeremy was able to really articulate and put into words things that I have been feeling and sensing for quite some time. We are at a place in our church where we are restructuring and rebuilding our current worship community and laying the foundation for what we want our worship arts culture to be moving forward. This book has provided so many applicable principles for us to build on as we set out to accomplish this. As me and one of our other worship pastors went through this book together, there was so much confirmation to things we were already feeling and sensing that God was speaking to us. This book was definitely a God send that came to us at just the right time. Thank you for your honesty, transparency, and commitment to speak the truth in love Jeremy! The future of our church, our worship community, and our region in Panama City, FL, are forever indebted to you for your obedience in writing this!
