Didn't work, sent back and got a refund.

I recently bought the AlpinerX watch from Amazon. My first impressions were not good. The watch's case is made out of plastic or resin and the plastic bezel looks pretty bad too! Not what you would expect from a high quality Swiss watch, quite the contrary. Unfortunately, in my hands it felt like a cheap watch!The temperature and compass results were also quite off the mark, but the main problem with this model is the time itself! Believe it or not, but you cannot set the time manually! The time on the watch is determined by the Alpina app that you install on your phone and for some of the largest cities in South America, like Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the folks from Alpina could not set up the correct time zone on the App, so the watch is constantly displaying the wrong time! I have contacted their Customer Service by email twice, but for some unknown reason they could not fix the bug! Steer clearly of this watch!

I have been looking at the Alpina's Alpiner X for a few years now. So far a full featured watch that I haven't even touched the surface of.

I should have researched this more before I purchased. Watch is completely reliant on the application on your phone. You can't control your watch manually and only through the app. So if it doesn't pair to the app you are out of luck. Got mine and unfortunately the 2 year battery lasted 5 minutes.

That was definnetly the worst watch I have ever bought. The app is not working at all. The callibration is horrible. Everything is off on this watch. For that money, I expect more and better quality.
