CS CELERSPORT2/3/4 Pack Ski Socks for Men and Women Skiing, Snowboarding, Winter Performance Socks

The other review states these would not be good ski socks, I COMPLETELY disagree. These have been fabulous for skiing (I do not snowboard, I ski). They are thicker than crew socks, but thinner than traditional ski socks. Your feet do not sweat or stink (you skiers know that sour smell I am talking about after a hard day of skiing). My feet stay very toasty. To be honest, I have been skiing for 31 years and these are by far the best ski socks I've ever owned, so much so I bought 4 pair of these and 6 pair of their other colors. Quite possibly the best part, they stay up!

Bought two pairs of these for my son, and found them very rugged and useful even when he literally shoved handfuls of snow up against his legs while playing in the snow!I was anxious at first when I saw how much snow was getting in and around his socks, but found out they protected against quite a lot of the cold, and he was able to continue doing what boys do best - make a frolicking mess!Worked well with the ski boots as well, and the rather tight harnesses didn’t bother him much - again something I was afraid he would complain about, but he didn’t.Well worth and invaluable!

These socks were awesome. My wife and I used them on a recent trip to Park City, UT and they were perfect. They are not too bulky and provided just the right amount of comfort. I found out my snow boot was leaking a bit on the second day, but I never once had wet feet with these socks. They were thinner than I expected and I assumed I would need to wear another layer, but these did the job and worked way better than we both expected. If you have a good snow boot these socks will work great. I have few pairs of running socks from CelerSport that I love, so I figured their snow socks would be good quality and they definitely were. We used them in 10 degree weather with snow falling all day.

The gray areas are just a tad thicker and are about what I would expect. The blue areas are about the thickness of a normal sock. If the entire sock had the thickness of the gray areas near the toes / shin then these would be great socks. I would check out other brands if I made this purchase again, but wanted to give these a shot.

I like these socks. I wear a size 9 shoe and purchased the 9-12 socks. They fit very well. The material is not thick like a full blown wool sock and I like that. So far they seem to work well and keep my feet warm. They are snug without strangling my calves or feet. The gray padded areas are not noticeable when wearing them but they are there. I am very satisfied.

Great combination of warm socks and support. They aren't quite as snug and energizing as my old compression socks, but they still offer good support. They are quite warm and help make long days in a 36 degree environment more bearable. Mine were a teensy bit big, so sizing down might solve that.
