Firman Generators ECO4000RE 6.5 HP Remote Start Gas Powered Portable Generator and Wheel Kit

Purchased this generator almost a year ago. No need for using the unit, however, I keep the testing as recommended. Last test I emptied the gas and forgot to put back the little screw. Call the seller and they are sending me the part free of charge. This is a good product with excellent customer services.

Received the unit on time. Added gas and oil and it fired right up. It runs my camp completely with lights, tv, and 2 AC units. (one 8,000 and one 15,000) with power to spare

First off, I must make it clear that any negative feedback I have is directed at the shipping company, and not Firman/Amazon.At this time I am awaiting a replacement unit. The one I received was 1 day late, and looked as though it had been dropped on it's side. As a result the plastic shroud was crushed and the battery damaged. Upon notifying Amazon I was surprised how willing they were to provide options to make things right. A++ Amazon.I was skeptical with this brand but decided to take a chance. Despite the damage, the build quality exceeded my expectations. I can see where the manufacturer had opportunities to cut corners but instead have produced a product with pride. I have given 5 stars though I am unable to really put it to the test. I will update my review once I have run this under load for a period of time. I am confident this will remain a 5 star item.Update: I did receive my replacement unit from Amazon, but unfortunately I am unable to provide a long term review. After only 1 use it was stolen from my garage :( Maybe I am not supposed to have nice things. Waiting for springtime to replace this, but I will most definitely be considering another Firman.

I done much research on generators before purchasing a Firman ECO 4000RE. I work in an industry where we frequent the need of generator power often. Firman is owned by Sumec, which is one of the largest companies in the world. They have been building generators for Generac and Kohler for years and now building Firman generators for themselves. The particular product I purchased arrived 3 days early. Assembly was extremely easy which included a total of 2 tires, 2 battery cables, and 1 supporting leg. A plastic cover on the back of the generator was broken so I called 1-844-347-6261. The gentleman was extremely nice, informative, and knowledgeable. The plastic cover had been broken during shipment and Firman is sending another replacement part but also gave me a generator weather cover at no charge. 5 star service, 5 star product, 5 star company.

I give the unit 5 stars, packaging not so much. UPS dropped the first one I ordered destroying the control panel. Amazon was fast to respond with a replacement. They are the best, hands down when you need help!. Generator is easy to set up in 30 minutes, stars right up and powers as described. Forman needs to improve packaging to try and UPS proof their products.

The battery isn't working we charged it fully but still won't start with remote

I bought a Firman generator September 2019 and used it September 2020 due to a 23 hour power outage. It ran well for the first 4 hours. After that time it began to vibrate and would shut itself off after 15 to 20 minutes. I called the company for support and left messages multiple times and have still not got a response. One of the calls I was on hold for 30 minutes. I suggest you buy from a company that will stand by the product they sell.
