I bought my 5 year old grandson an Axial SCX24 Deadbolt and he loves it. His father isn't into R/C, but I didn't like the USB chargers that came with the kit. I bought a dedicated charger and fashioned up a wire, but this solves the problem perfectly. No more Rube Goldberg contraptions, just an EC3 plug and a PH2. Perfect.
