Rösle Conical Strainer - A Culinary Companion for Life
Having faith in the Rösle brand as a stalwart of enduring quality, I recently added the Rösle Stainless Steel Conical Strainer to my collection, and true to the brand's reputation, it has exceeded expectations. Rösle stands as one of the last "buy it once, enjoy it for life" companies, and my numerous Rösle products, acquired and inherited, bear witness to this commitment.Inspired by the culinary preferences of the esteemed three-Michelin-star chef Marco Pierre White, I ventured into the realm of Rösle's Conical Strainer, and I must say, it has proven to be an excellent addition to my kitchen. Designed for straining sauces, stocks, and soups, I've found it versatile enough to handle pasta, beans, and vegetables with equal finesse. What sets this strainer apart is its wide rest and sturdy handle, coupled with very fine perforations all over. The 1.6-quart capacity ensures it's up to the task, while the 18/10 stainless steel construction attests to its durability. Knowing that Rösle stands by their products with a lifetime warranty only adds to the confidence in this culinary companion. In conclusion, the Rösle Stainless Steel Conical Strainer is not just a kitchen tool; it's a testament to the enduring quality and craftsmanship that defines the Rösle brand. Highly recommended for those who appreciate a lifetime of culinary excellence.

Very fine mesh screen. Heavy duty and well designed. Should last a long time I'm guessing.
This is a pretty large strainer. Well Constructed. It says stainless steel for most of it but didn't say what screen material was, I'm assuming some type of plated wire? It was deeper than the pan I had it in or otherwise I would have hung it on the edge. Overall I really liked it!Note: It was a bit hard to clean with a dish brush. I finally used a small juicer cleaning brush (looks like a flat tooth brush but wider) and that did the trick.

Great for puree and sauces
Rösle 95260 Stainless Steel Round Handle Kitchen Strainer, Fine Mesh, Sifter 7.9 InchWe have been improving our cooking and this Rösle 95260 Fine Mesh Stainless Kitchen Strainer works great. We chose it because it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated/America’s Test Kitchen, who we really trust and rely on for information and recommendations. This is not a strainer that you would typically use for pasta or such, but it is for straining out puree and things such as small seeds.

Feels Solid and Works Great But Concerned About Welded Part
I've been waiting for the smaller coarse mesh to be back in stock, but finally bought this size. It's a nice strainer, and the stainless steel looks great and feels solid.3 things to consider :1. It is welded at crucial pressure points; with my old strainer (not welded), I would tap it on my hand to shake excess water out after use, but this may not be a good idea here if concerned about the welding coming loose at some point in the future. I let it air dry.2. Hand washing mesh can be a challenge and I don't put it in the dishwasher each time due to space.3. It's nice but I wouldn't pay full price, mainly due to being constructed with welded parts. I waited until it went on sale, so I guess I could rationalize getting it re-welded if it ever becomes necessary (but who does that?).

Great! Rosle products are heirloom quality
Great conical sieve. It sits across the sink and holds enough material that I often don't use my collander anymore.
