Very potent and effective
Very potent. I just added a little teaspoon to a small pot of boiling water and it was literally so potent. It gave me so much energy throughout the day.

Glycyrrhizin content not standardized, otherwise fine
Glycyrrhizin is the active ingredient in Licorice and is often used in liver support, the purpose in my buying this powder. Glycyrrhizin, as reported by NCBI can be toxic if too much is taken and NCBI recommends a daily dose of 2-6 mg max. Since Glycyrrhizin content in raw licorice root can range from 2% to 25%, it is hard to know if you got the 2% variety or the 25% variety or somewhere in between. When I get the powder that is unstandardized I have to assume it is 25% Glycyrrhizin so I do not overdose. If Glycyrrhizin content is only 2% then I am taking 1/24th the Glycyrrhizin that I could be taking! If the mfg of this would assay each batch, Glycyrrhizin content could be stated on the bag ensuring an overdose does not happen, and allowing the user to use the maximum amount allowed meaning THEY WOULD SELL MORE!

Potent and pungent
I bought this to sprinkle on my cat's food to help boost her immune system during the icky weather. It smells super strong, but she gobbles it up, much to my amazement. It's a super fine powder, so it's easy to mix in to wet or sprinkle over dry and I never have to worry she's getting too much or too little. I'll definitely be buying again.

Seriously not happy with the bag
I am not happy with the way this product was bagged. They pack it in a flat bag that is so inconvenient and not practical at all. You have to put it in a jar after opening!It tates pretty good but I’m not buying it again because I just hate the bag!
