Very easy to use and extremely convenient! As other dying products cause terrible allergic reaction. This product eliminates that, and offers a very way for me to dye my beard. I highly recommend it.

Been using this for a few months or so. The color is good, looks relatively natural in comparison to my hair color. It is just a temporary measure, as it doesn't dye your beard, it just coats it with color. While it may be waterproof (haven't tried it, but seems suspect, given my next comment), but it is absolutely not smudge proof. Rub your beard with your hand (as most men will do from time to time) and it will rub off onto your hand (letting the gray shine through), so don't even try a good make out session with your significant other, as I am sure most of it will rub right off onto them. Also, it's alcohol based, so it will irritate your skin a bit.

If you are using this to touch up prior to a picture, definitely get it. If you are using it on stage and won’t be around anyone after the performance, definitely get it. 1. It smells like a combination of nail polish and hair spray. 2. Even if it dries for an hour, it will rub off on anything that touches it… face mask, shirt collar, winter scarf, (and to my horror, anyone who kisses you will have some on their face afterwards!) 3. It doesn’t exactly look “natural” but it does cover white beard hair, (temporarily). I gave it one star because it doesn’t perform as described, and it’s very overpriced for cheap, colored mascara, (which is what it is), but there may be someone who finds value in an extremely temporary, odorous color correction for their beard. If I had a head shot photo session scheduled, this would be in my pocket. Unless that happens, I will stick with the godefroy tint I have been using, (which doesn’t work as described either, but it is much more stable and doesn’t rub off on clothes/people). I’d have tried to return it but they don’t take returns. If you need it to work as advertised, give it a miss.

Excellent product. And I have tried so many different ones but this is the only one that really works.. it stays on even after showering unless you shampoo it off it will stay. Only downside is that is a bit on the expensive side but didn't really mind as it will last a long time as I only use it on a small area of my beard but definitely recommend this and I will be buying again for sure.

I bought the two pack refill. Good thing because the brush on the first one broke under the cap the first time I used it. The color is nice matches my light brown. It makes your beard feel coarse and wiry. I use women's Garnier Nutrisse hair color for my head and beard because it is cheaper than men's color and the conditioner leaves my beard nice and soft. I slept with the Volt color on and it didn't come off at all. I used my beard wash the next day and some of the color came off. My beard still felt coarse and yucky. I didn't completely put Volt all over my beard the second time. I think this will be useful for just touching up new white hair growth in between box coloring. It doesn't make your beard nice to touch even after brushing. I don't think your supposed to brush the beard after applying this stuff anyways.

The product seems to work well but the applicator snapped off the cap after the third light stroke through my beard. Now I will have to get my fingers dirty every time I use this! Why do companies sell products of such low quality?
