Question 1

How do you hang this? The bolts that come with it don't have and divets on the heads for me to use my power drill.

Take your drill and insert an appropriate drill bit to a size slightly smaller than the wood bolt that came with the hanger.  Mark the holes on your beam in the ceiling.  Drill your holes.  Now find the right socket and use a socket wrench to tighten the bolt.  If you have the right extension, it can be inserted in your drill and then you can power the bolt in.  No disrespect intended, but if you refer to a Phillips head or a slotted head on a standard screw as diverts, I would highly recommend that you find someone handier than yourself to mount your heavy bag.  I am concerned that you might injure yourself if you might it improperly.

Question 2

Do yall think it would even more effective to just by two of these and mount them paralel to each other on two differnt joist ?

Put vertical wood blocks spanning both sides (bays) to reinforce the joists. Feel free to use as many as you would like. If you have plywood joist this would be a necessity!!!! In that case, lay blocks vertical against both sides the plywood to beef up the joist ...then add vertical blocks spanning the bays on both sides. Feel free to offset the vertical blocks so you can have room to mail/screw the other side in if possible.

One answer says to lay the wood flat  (I believe) which means that will be the sacrificial piece, and not as strong as a vertical joist.

Question 3

Would this work to hang a 70 lb bag from our rec room ceiling?  It does not have any exposed beams- just an ordinary ceiling.

Mine is a 100 lb bag and its in a stud.  As long as you hit a stud, you should be fine.

Will this hold a 150lbs bag?

As long as you attach it to a strong beam. And maybe get a different bolt to hold the chain
