One of the best mechanical pencils ever
Where do I begin? Long story short: It's one of the best pencils I've ever used, and I've used alot of different kinds over the years. It has a great feel to it, a nice balance when you're holding it. The knurling on the grip is some of the best around, it stays firmly in your hand when using. The lead doesnt move around and it doesnt break leads. All around a great pencil for the price. It's the only pencil you'll need really. You won't be disappointed!

i’m prob bias but i def recommend
i’m definitely bias bc i already have one and simply wanted a second in a different lead size, but this is one of my favourite pencils to use when drawing or writing!! it has a good weight to it, which i like. i think its advertised for like graphing and architecture sketching but i use it for figure drawings and other things, it feels much higher quality than most other mechanical pencils ive used

Variety of colors. More environment friendly using replaceable ink.
Love this pen and the great colors I bought.

Decent mechanical pencil
I'm new to mechanical pencils, bought a few to compare... this is fine. It's a bit light weight, but it's a mechanical pencil that is only partly metal, so expected. The grip is very nice, knurled metal. No complaints.

I find it alright, average in terms of feel
In terms of ergonomics, its good to okay. I expected the whole pencil to be uniformly weighted, but most of the weight occurs at the bottom end where the finely knurled metal part is. The rest of the pencil (black portion) is light plastic so its off-balanced. I also prefer a round girth (outer cross-section shape) like most pens versus the hexagonal shape (like wooden pencils) that this one has. The metal hook is a bit long so it annoyingly gets in the way in certain angles, but luckily its detachable so I just took it off. The eraser is hidden under the shiny cap and uses those small skinny types. Maybe thats why there is an included high performing polymer eraser in the package. The lead included is nice, writes very smooth and good dark lines. I noticed that the long metal tip where the lead exits out is a bit longer than expected and is permanent (it doesn't retract into the body like some mechanical pencils). I do prefer a permanent lead support versus the retractable kind but the length of it takes a bit getting used to. For my hand-writing style, I hold my pencil close to the paper, but this one forces me to hold it at about 2mm further away. Doesn't sound like much, but I noticed the change. I would test it out with your normal pencil by moving your hand just a tad bit higher up and see if it effects your handwriting. In terms of performance, I think it does great. It does what it sets out to do. I like that when you click the cap for more lead it comes out at finer increments than most of my usual mechanical pencils. No more worry of lead breaking off from hard handwriting. Both the lead and eraser(s) perform well and attest to Pental quality. I think it all boils down to your handwriting preference.

High Quality Pencil!
New favorite pencil!! Writes so smooth and lead is sturdy and barely smudges. Grip is quite uncomfy for note taking but that was expected, I just put a grip on it and it’s totally fine! I love the quality of this pencil, feels really nice for the price!

Great value...with a few points to consider
First, the looks. The design of the pencil is pleasing to the eye. The contrast of the black plastic body and generous knurled metal grip is classy. Second, the feel. I was surprised with how light the pencil feels. I was hoping for a bit more heft, considering the metal end. I find the knurled grip to be very comfortable, even for extended periods of writing. The knurling looks more aggressive than it feels. I have a Rotring 600 that has the heavier feel I prefer, but that is to be expected with its all-metal body, and price. Based on the pencil features alone, this is (to me) a four-star item. But when I consider the extra lead and eraser, the quality of the pencil, and the price, the overall value makes this a five-star product.

I love this pencil but there were a couple issues: - the end bent, thus breaking leads whenever extruded. *be careful* - weighted far to close to the tip for my preference. good things: - Pocket clips are removable if you don't like it. - The eraser and extra leads are very welcome. - Great build quality. - Really nice feeling when you push out a bit of lead.

As mechanical pencils go, this one will keep you satisfied for long. Okay for writing becuase of its gritty grip, but accurate and excellent for drawing, drafting, and any work that requires precision. Build quality is great too. No creaky plastic and strong body. Lead breaks though, so be careful about dropping it.
