GM Genuine Parts 25792420 Front Parking Brake Cable

fits perfectly on my 2007 Chevy Canyon Colorado and it works as intended.

Exact OEM replacement part. Very satisfied! I had to replace this cable because I yanked on the plastic e-brake release handle, and I broke a plastic retainer clip. Just a heads up, remove the cable from the e-brake assembly under the dash first. In order to remove the cable itself from the lower dash console, reach behind the lower dash and simply twist it. Pretty simple.

Fit like a glove....easy to put in...no need to unscrew any dash covers...am very happy...except for the fact that it even needed replacing but that of course is a GM thing...so I am very satisfied with Amazon and company...5 stars without a doubt.

The part arrived quickly and well-packaged. It is exactly what I had ordered and appears to be brand new. I can ask for no more than that.

This is a bit of a pain in the butt to install, but not horrible. I had to pry open the hook where the end of this cable attaches to my truck, and then squish it shut when I'm done, but no big deal. It works great. Too bad GM didn't have a more robust method to attach the e-brake release handle to this cable; these things are apparently notorious for busting (but they're cheap enough to buy a spare!).

THIS IS NOT AS POSTED (DESCRIBED) THIS IS THE RELEASE CABLE TO RELEASE THE PARKING BRAKE NOT THE FRONT PARKING BRAKE CABLE, AFTER RECEIVING I SAW IT WAS NOT WHAT I WANTED AT ALL , TURNS OUT THE FRONT PARKING BRAKE CABLE COMES ONLY WITH THE FOOT PEDAL ASSEMBLY...BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
