Do it right with a proper chain removal tool
The tool is inexpensive which is a good thing for a single use function. It works well for quick link chains removals. Bike repairs require specialized tools. Once you have the tools of the trade. You can repair your bicycles easily. This is a good basic tool that works well.

From frutrating to easy
The quality is fine and the price is right. Removing quick connects is incredibly frustrating without a tool like this, but with this tool it couldn't be easier. If felt like I got my money's worth or the first use. It's too big and heavy to take with your on a ride.

Been doing it using hand or needlenose pliers for years but recently had issues with a difficult link so I thought I'd give these a try. Within 2 seconds I had the difficult link connected using this tool. I should have bought a pair of these years ago.

Sturdy bit of kit which make a simple task of breaking breaking the chain links and making them.Got job done quick and easy saving messing about with pliers and other bodge tools.Not something I'd take out on rides but a definite workshop tools for me.
