Hello, you only have one motor, you can connect to one motor, and don’t care about the other one. The motor cable does not have positive and negative poles, but the difference between forward and reverse rotation. Reversing the motor cable can realize the forward and reverse rotation of the motor.

Hello, you must use 6v battery and motor, or 12v battery and motor.

Q: Why does the power light go out when i hit the pedal but is on otherwise? Faulty fuse?

Check the voltage of the battery. I believe if the voltage is lower than 10.5 it will not work. Charge battery and make sure it’s 12 volts.If not replace battery. Check and make sure charger is charging before you replace battery. If battery is at 12 volts and still not working, then have someone with electrical knowledge to check it out. A resistor is at the positive side of battery terminal. Check it also. If all checks out then possible control module.
