Perfect for the River!
I bought this to sharpen my filet knives while I'm on the river. The first time I went out to the river I took out the sharpener and ran my blade through it 10 times and with the first cut you could tell the sharpness was ELITE! My hands were pretty wet as well and the grip was great and I was able to maintain it without cutting myself! It's a nice small compact sharpener that is easily portable, just throw it in your tackle bag and go!

Handy in Kitchen
I keep this near the knives in the kitchen. I think it does a more consistent and probably more thorough job than a steel and is way easier to use than my Lansky set. Very easy to use, all kitchen knives are always sharp these days.

I would give it a 5 if the carbide blades could be rotated, as that would quadruple the life span.
