greatest light ever
It works great in a car. That is what I needed to work with my light. It makes working with my light while I travel with my husband so easy

Poor construction
I have owned the adapter for about 6 months and used it a handful of times in the car. Tonight the tip of the plug came off inside the cigarette lighter socket of the car. A quarter turn of the tip and it comes loose and it's only held in place by the pressure of the spring holding it against a couple of plastic nubs. Not secure at all. A slight twist while trying to pull it out of the socket is all it takes to have the piece stuck.
