Grandson loves it
Our three year old grandson loves it. He now tells us where penguins live and can point out the beach and where Santa lives. I like that it turns, but wish it could spin more freely. It is small, but a nice size for toddlers.

Clear and easy to read
Just what I needed for now. Introducing 7 year old to geography. Inexpensive but clear and well made for the price.

Small - but helpful for homeschooling!
We were working on geography, maps vs globe, etc. and this little glide was exactly what we needed. It’s small - so it’s a little hard to read and I’m not sure that the cities are exactly in the right places - but I wasn’t looking for accuracy I was looking for something easy to store. Overall a decent globe for the price!

Cute perfect little globe!
Did I buy it because it was called a chubby one? Yes. However, my 3 year old has claimed it as her prize toy and it makes me quite happy. It has also already been dropped and spilled onto but it still looks perfect! Yay!

Eh
I purchased this for my 2 year old nephew who expressed interest in geography. From taking it out of the box, I could tell it was super flimsy. The globe never tightly fit into the stand. I could just rest it on the stand but the screw just slid right out. Very low quality and not durable which is important when you're purchasing something for children. My nephew still loved it and just carried the actual globe part around until he broke it--that's the only reason I am rating 3-stars. Otherwise, it was garbage.

Nice little globe
This is a nice little globe to give students and others a better idea of the relative positions of the continents and nations. I was surprised, though, by which cities were deemed worthy of inclusion and which were not. Detroit, for instance, isn't on the map of Michigan. In fact, no city in Michigan is shown. Eureka, California, however, made the cut!I was pleased that the globe is made of metal and that it arrived in perfect condition all the way here in the Philippines.

NOT 7", really 5.5"
Description says 7" globe. Box says 6" in one place and 7" in another. It is actually 5.5". Hard to measure diameter accurately, so I measured circumference (at the equator) and calculated diameter from that. If you are okay with small, this is an okay product, but it is not as big as advertized. The size difference is actually significant when you consider the difference in surface area: a true 7" sphere would have 58% larger surface area than this one. This means much less space for writing place names, so there is not much detail, and letters are very small. I'll return it and buy a bigger one.

Awesome
Great quality for this price range. LEDs emits a pleasant yellow glow. Stand is metal. My 7yo loves this and motivates her to learn about places and geography. Surprisingly fast delivery. 4 days from order to delivery shipping from US East coast to SG 👍
