These Light filtering cellular Redi-Shades are the bomb! They are simple enough to make an otherwise large project ....converting all household windows to these cellular shades, reasonable & doable! Both in cost and effort. Literally takes minutes per window. Do measure again after your first cut on one end of the shade before making the final cut. I like mine trim against the window edges instead of having a margin, so for precision, a second measuring is important before cutting the other side. I found that a good pair of scissors can be used on the end of the bottom bar if the edge is a bit rough after slicing through with a knife. Very simple and more precise than free hand with a knife for a final touch before fitting the end piece onto the bar. Very pleased with the aesthetics. Clean, fresh look, great privacy and in addition to thermal insulative qualities, I believe, it also creates some sound insulation. The light filtering effect in the Natural Tone is also a nice addition to the ambience of the rooms. Delighted and pleased with the transformation to our home. I recommend getting 'Sticky Tape' to reinforce the top on both ends, 8" or 10" pieces, because these are inclined to pull away and sag and require resetting at the top even if they hold initially. Save yourself the effort and just apply it to start with but set the tape towards the back edge and then press the top bar up firmly and it shouldn't even be visible at all. Keeps a clean, trim look.

I love these shades!! They are sturdy and pretty well made so they don’t feel flimsy. The easily slide up and down and are nice looking. I bought 3 and the first 2 adhered very well but the 3rd one kept falling so I had to use my alien tape to stick it, not a big deal tho. They were very easy to cut and install. The cutting guide is very useful to hold while you cut but you do need a strong sharp knife. Very happy with this purchase. I’ll be ordering a couple more for my skylight- I think they’ll work !

These shades are cute and easy to install. Mine didn't stick well but I forgot to clean the surface before attaching. I also made a small mistake when I was measuring so I cut them just too slightly narrow but they are fine. I just have light getting thru between them which is fine for now. Much more affordable than other fabric pleated shades. Will be ordering more in the near future to replace some blinds that are falling apart in another room of the house.

I rarely write reviews but am so impressed with this product, I have to share my thoughts. The number one complaint from reviewers was the difficulty they had resizing/cutting. I'm so confused because it couldn't be easier. Place the tightly packed box against the window opening. Use a marker to mark the desired size. Cut the blind using a sharp kitchen knife, using the guide they provide. It helps you cut in a perfect line. Clean the area you wish to stick the blind to. This is critical or the blind won't stick properly. Duh! Use rubbing alcohol to remove any oils. If the surface is textured, you may have to smooth it off, or even nail in a thin strip. We have a light textured wall and the adhesive strip stuck and is firmly in place. The blind looks absokutely gorgeous. The photo really does not do it justice. So happy with my purchase and will be ordering another one soon.

I bought this product in December and was thrilled with how easy the installation was. It effectively blocked out light in my room and I was initially very satisfied. However, after only a month, I noticed that the product started to peel off. I had to resort to using an additional adhesive to keep it in place. Unfortunately, the product continued to fall off even after multiple attempts to clean and reapply it. By the fourth month, it had completely fallen off with no possibility of reinstallation. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this product as it did not withstand the test of time.
