Douwe Egberts Aroma Rood Decaf Coffee, 17.6 Ounce

Still one of the best coffee brands on the planet! Each country has its own preferred way of roasting coffee I found on my travels. Colombia being the smoothest of any. This is from my home country and a lot of this is sourced from Colombia and roasted by the Dutch. We brew about half a dozen different brands at home but this is my morning go to.

I was staying at a boutique resort one night and went down for breakfast. They had the most deliciously smooth coffee that I had ever tasted. Dark and smooth with no bitter finish. It was RICH! I asked the server what kind they used and she came back with a small package of grounds with this strange sounding name Douwe Egberts. A medium to dark Dutch coffee that has become the only coffee I drink. She gave me the package to take home with me and the rest was history. I searched all over until I found that Amazon carried it. I was over the moon and have it on a monthly subscription. I can’t speak to the liquid coffee others have spoken about. I only have known the ground coffee and it beats anything out there. I could NEVER drink Folgers or any of these American brands that are so popular. The coffee is so weak. YUCK. Is the Duewe brand more expensive? Yes it is. But like anything in life, you get what you pay for.

Best tasting Ground Coffee anywhere - Smooth and tasty with no bitterness, highly recommend.

Nice mild coffee. Not acidic. Very gentle on stomach. Rich taste. The opposite of a strong acidic burnt taste that most coffee has.

Very good coffee

I discovered this coffee while living in Holland. The first bold strong coffee without any bitter aftertaste. Especially the Great Aroma it emanates. I cannot rate this coffee High Enough. I still remember Mr and Mrs Knaap inviting me over for coffee. One of my Fondest Memories of living over there I'm spending time with my adopted grandparents.

I had this coffee in a restaurant awhile back and it had a unique delicious flavor. I ordered to have on hand over the holiday's for a specialty. There is no flavor in the coffee I received. If you add more to the usual amount to brew a pot it becomes bitter. The coffee near the bottom of the pot turns muddy and is not clear.
