I've been using probiotics for years as I have a gastrointestinal disease. My doctor recommends that I switch up brands every few months just to keep any one brand from becoming less effective from tolerance. The Carlyle brand has the probiotics I look for and work just as well as other brands I've had in rotation. Two things to note: Carlyle recommends refrigeration after opening. That is probably a good recommendation, but it is a little inconvenient. Some of the other probiotics I've used are shelf stable and do not need refrigeration and that's nice when traveling or even just to take to work every day. Secondly, there are 120 capsules but the bottle instructions are to take 2 per day so that is only a 60 day supply. Other brands I've tried have a dosage of one per day so a bottle of 60 would last as long. Keep that in mind if comparing prices.
