I've had the best pair of tweezers for the last 20 years, but I finally lost them. I had no idea what type of tweezers they were (the name had completely rubbed off years ago). But when I saw the tweezerman logo on Amazon I had a vague recollection that it looked familiar. I took a chance and ordered these tweezers even though they were multiple times more expensive than any other ones I found. I'm sooooooooo glad I took a chance - it turns out these are an exact replacement for the ones I lost.To hedge my bets, I also ordered another pair from another company at the same time since their logo also looked a little familiar. The tweezerman ones are much better. Why?- The tension in them is perfect. I barely have to squeeze them, so I can focus on getting the individual hair and not worry about hurting myself if I happen to grab skin. Most other tweezers are much stiffer and harder to press together to grab hairs (and somehow this tighter tension causes pain if you mistakenly get any skin between them)- The slanted edges are the perfect thickness to grab really short hairs. Most other tweezers I've ever found have a much thicker edge (unless they are pointed and that makes it too hard to grab anything) and therefore they can't grab any hair that is so short that it's barely come through the skin yet.The tweezerman tweezers deliver and I am soooooooooooooo happy I found them. I may have to order another pair to have a backup in another 20 years :-)And FYI - I'm one of those people who only ever write a review if I'm unhappy with a product. When things simply meet my expectations, I don't consider it worthy of mentioning, but I had to write this review because these are the best tweezers I've ever found in my life and I'm so lucky that I accidentally found them again.

Nice and sharp tweezers. They grasp well and provide good control. The tweezers fit it in the hand without feeling too large or small. I love the blue color as well!

I've owned at least 5 Tweezerman tweezers in the last 3 years, as I somehow keep misplacing them...well, either that or my sister hijacks them and they're never to be seen again ;-) Of ALL the tweezers I've owned in my 49 yrs....they are by far THE BEST...especially for those stubborn little hairs that are barely poking through the surface of the skin. It really helps to use a magnifying mirror just so you don't accidentally grab your skin instead of the hair. It even grips onto the super fine hairs that other tweezers just can't seem to get. I highly recommend these tweezers if you're like me & want to be sure you get every last little hair.

Good quality. Works well. Almost too sharp. Too easy to cut yourself while using.

Can pluck short thin hair better than other tweezers. A little pricey, but if it outlasts my other ones, then it will be worth it.

Possibly in Japan, Korea or Germany you’ll find a better piece of craftsmanship, and have never had to send one in for sharpening. I have one at home and one for the travel bag. And an extra just in case. I do keep them away from other tools in the drawer to protect their edges. I’ve been using these for about 25 years.They are just amazing for the chin and lip corner hairs that certain women sprout after middle age. You don’t grab skin by accident, it grasps a very small stub of hair and it works. Divinely.
