EZ-ACCESS EZ-SHAMPOO Hair Washing Basin

It worked better than I expected, though it would have helped to have more complete instructions. My husband used an electric pump to inflate the basin, but it took a while for us to figure out there's a nozzle made especially for mattresses. We had the wrong nozzle on the pump and it didn't work. Once we switched nozzles it went well, but you DO need a pump. The basin did just what it was supposed to do. My mother, whose hair I was washing, was so comfortable she fell asleep part way through. I laid a shower curtain under the basin just in case, but nothing leaked. It took a lot of water to lather twice and then use conditioner, which meant three trips back and forth to the bathroom with a pitcher and a gallon jug to replenish my supply of fresh water and empty the bucket of used water. It would have worked better with a streamlined washing method that used less water or with some means of holding more water near the bed. I poured water over my mother's hed from a plastic pitcher, but there wasn't enough room inside the basin to maneuver such a large container. One of those bags that hold water and dispense it through a hose might be a good investment if you have something to suspend it from. I think it would be easier to maneuver the nozzle of the hose than clumsily angle a pitcher.

While going through post surgery recovery, I couldn't get into the shower or otherwise take a real bath. So I decided to try this device and it worked perfectly. After inflation (which was difficult) the thing held my head up and facilitated the chore of shampooing my head. My wife ran the drain tube into a container beside the bed and there was absolutely no leakage onto the bed sheet. A couple of weeks later, it was still inflated and ready to use. Excellent product

Worked very well. I put a small piece of plastic under the basin and a bath towel, plus a hand towel under the neck. Very little water on bath towel. As with all products of this type, the kinked drain hose could have been a problem. By reading reviews beforehand I was prepared. By raising the bed to its highest level and having a tall bucket to catch the water, the kinks weren't a problem. (Hint: 2 liter soda bottles work great for washing & rinsing.) The only drawback on this item is that the flap on the drain plug should be reversed. In the position its in, it automatically closes so you have to hold it up for the water to drain. If flap were on opposite side, it would stay open.

Product is used for disable spouse to allow for shampoo while in bed. We had the same model and used for approx 2 years until it deflate due to hole, which was expected for a low cost vinyl product being used a couple of times per week for over a year. Will purchase another when time comes and this one fails to stay inflated since the air types are just more comfortable to use than the solid basins which would probably last longer but lack the comfort.

Doesn't work for me. Return window closed yesterday. Stuck with something I won't use.

this is perfect for a person who cant move from their bed. Is confortable for the patient and the caregiver.i love the drainer and the small pillow so the patient can put their head on top

Easy To Use, Makes Shampooing A Breeze

Used for very old lady very limited mobility dementia..........Yes we get her hair washed and she likes it . Wastewater kinks bit but all in all very good . I would recommend over hard plastic models. No regrets does the job.

Utiliser pour laver les cheveux de ma mère, immobilisée sur le dos après un Avc... Plebiscite par les aides à domicile qui ,sous-équipées, lui lavaient les cheveux à l'aide d'un gant de toilette dans un sac poubelle... j'ai trouvé ce système après avoir cherche sur le net, pas cher très efficace et très confortable pour la personne immobilisée. Il faut juste faire attention à ne pas trop gonfler le petit coussin sous la tête, sinon on ne peut passer les mains pour rincer efficacement, et j'ai changé le tuyau qui était plié et donc ne laissait pas l'eau s'écouler ( petit tuyau plastique transparent achete au rayon jardinage d'un magasin de bricolage).

No me ha gustado que solamente tiene una cámara de aire, quiere decir que cuando se pinche o rompa se colapsara toda la bañera y inundara la cama,Otras que he comprado están divididas en más de una cámara por lo que cuando se pinchan la mayor parte del agua queda dentro de la bañera

Mi aspettavo peggio, ma il gonfiabile è di buona qualità, ovviamente c'è la possibilità che si possa bucare, ma speriamo non accada. É arrivato in un scatolo ben imballato e piegato in una busta sigillata
