A nice desk light that checks all the boxes.
I've been looking for a good LED clamp light for my home-office setup for quite some time - a lot of the cheaper desk lamps on here have mediocre reviews or really bad reviews reflecting build quality or light output. I found other Neatfi versions with overall good reviews and saw that there was a new 2021 model and decided to give it a try. TLDR at the bottom.First off, the packaging. For me, Amazon defaulted to shipping in the box that the light comes in, but I opted for amazon packaging at checkout - and I'm glad I did. Even though the amazon box was super oversized, it's worth the extra protection - the Neatfi XL box does have quite a bit of stryrofoam and bubble wrap to protect it, however the light's packaging wasn't the strongest cardboard material. Just something to think about if your last mile delivery peeps aren't the most gentle with your packages. The Neatfi XL came mostly assembled, with the clamp and the rest of the light separated - this made for easy install of the clamp even while my desk was up against the wall - no fumbling to keep the light upright. You need about 1.5 to 2 inches from the desk edge to the wall to fit this clamp behind the desk. I WOULD have liked to have some kind of a click/release on the base to know it's there firmly but it's held in by gravity so it works. The rotation at the base of the light is friction free, and that allows the light to be pushed to the side if you need some clearance above your desk. The power wire has a quick release so you can run your wire first and then connect it to the light. The plug is KINDA BIG.The hinges seem ok quality - not super high end but not easily damaged either. A thing to note here is that the base and middle hinges are not tension adjustable; probably not a huge deal if you don't plan adding things to your light (I don't) - hopefully they doesn't loosen over time because there's no way to tighten it. It does seem to be holding pretty steadily though, over the course of the last week I haven't had it droop or change position. The hinge closest to the lamp has a tightening knob on it, so when you want to adjust the angle of the lamp you need to first loosen it a bit, adjust, and then retighten the knob. The knob is not made out of the best material and I wish a slightly better material was chosen here. I've included some photos of the max angles at which you can rotate it to give you an idea of the rotation amount. when turned to the max angle to the right side, it becomes a bit hard to tighten the knob due to the proximity to the lamp, but you can manage to tighten it if you pretighten a little before reaching the max angle. The light itself has 4 light settings and the max brightness is actually SUUUUPER bright. I've been using it on the second lowest setting and it's more than adequate for my night work/gaming sessions (I'm a web designer/gamer). I positioned the light so that it's angled down towards the desk and out of direct view of my eyes, and the light is very comfortable to me. There's no light temperature setting - the light stays in a neutral white tone, not too yellow and not too blue. The button leaves more to be desired. When you click the button, it sounds like you're flicking on a tin can. Not a huge deal but it's a pretty audible click - if this button click was softened for the next model I think that would be amazing. The button has an outer ring that controls brightness and an inner circle that is the power button.Overall, This one's definitely a keeper - I'm really happy with it and I may even purchase another one for my other desk too!I reached out to Neatfi's customer service team before purchasing for additional details on rotation angles and measurements since they weren't on this amazon page: (inches are rounded from mm to nearest hundredth)lamp width: 22.05 in / 560 mmlamp depth: 3.54 in / 90 mmlamp height: 0.25 in / 6.25 mmarm length: 16.14 in / 410 mmbase rotation: 0-110°mid rotation: 0-180°TLDR:pros- separated base and power wire for easy install- hinges don't droop- nice, comfortable light- light gets super bright for times when you need itcons- power plug is a bit large- base and middle hinges are not tighten-able (hopefully it doesn't loosen over time)- buttons are clicky and loud- adjustment knob at the hinge closest to the light feels a little cheap.

Great lamp for miniature painting
The lamp is a bit pricey but, it does everything I need it to for miniature painting. It’s bright, it moves around easy, the color is adjustable to daylight spectrum, and the controls are way better than the last model

I love this lamp!
i got this lamp for doing nails and I love it already. It’s high quality, definitely bright enough, the different light settings are great and easy to switch through brightness and warmth. Unfortunately it won’t let me upload a video but I promise the range of lighting is great! the arm of the lamp is easily adjustable but also stays where you put it & it has great range. I think the different lighting options make this lamp a pretty safe purchase for anything you might be doing on a desk top. I got it for nails but I will probably end up using it for cross stitch as well. The only thing I would say to consider is the color- I got it in black and the actual lamp part is definitely prone to collecting finger prints and dust. I assume that would be less noticeable if it were white. All together though this is a very high quality lamp that is exactly as described in the product listing and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend it if it’s within your budget.

A bright desk lamp but certainly not 2500 Lumens
I don't know how the manufacturer rated the Lumen output of this lamp but it certainly is not 2500 Lumens, it is more likely 1000-1500 Lumens at best on max level. I think they just calculated the nominal Lumen output of one LED multiplied by the number of LEDs in the lamp or used a fallacious formula to convert watts to lumens which is wrong. Other than that, the lamp is very easy to use, the button is very smooth and you can set the dimmer using whether the right/left or up/down outer ring of the button. The clamp is surprisingly solid and can eat as much as 2 inches, the arm is also solid, more than the old school style spring arms, only downside would be the placement of the knob which maybe deserved to be set at an angle to avoid being in the way of the lamp in certain positions. The color light leans towards the blue but well diffused, very suitable for arts and crafts despite a weak color rendering index due to the bluishness of the LEDs. I was still expecting way more output from a lamp rated 2500 Lumens!!

Well spent money, very happy.
The lamp is easy to assemble. You clamp base to table, and place the arm and lamp which are connected, in the base then turn it on. I love that the light covers the whole table and I can adjust the lighting however I need. It's not like those flimsy clamp base lamps that l use to have.
