HarperCollins Stick Dog Crashes a Party

My 8-9 year old son LOVES stick dog. If it helps another parent decide, he also likes Wimpy Kid books, Captian underpants, and dogman. Dogman is a lower reading level than wimpy kid. Captian underpants and stick dog are somewhere in the middle.

Epic as usual - kids loved it and so did I!

My grandson, a second grader, was so excited to get the rest of the Stick Dog books. He had read two that we picked out at the bookstore and thought they were funny. So I decided to look for more and ordered five more that I found on the Amazon site. He was so excited because he didn’t know there were five more; he had the first two. As a former elementary teacher, I love seeing kids get excited about reading! Reading with someone or reading on your own, just a great way to spend time, use imaginations, talk about what you are reading, and increase comprehension, which definitely improves your skills in the classroom also.

Really fun and humorous read. 7yr and 5yr old engrossed in both Stick Dog and Stick Cat series.

Love it! The author came to my son’s school, he’s a great guy and my son loved him. The book is funny and age appropriate.
