Crunchy mom must have
Super practical, natural materials and effective. I had one for about a year dedicated to dishes and retired it to clean the kiddie pool, picnic table, etc. and when it gets too far gone for that I'll pull the bristles out and use the handle as kindling. The long handle and flexible bristles are great for getting into and reaching the bottoms of narrow mouth/deep bottles and jars. Allow proper ventilation and don't let the bristles matt so the brush can dry out between uses or it will mold.

Best brush for tall sports bottles and pitchers, and works great for other dishes too.
So far, this has been my best investment in any cleaning product over the last few years.I was very hesitant to get this brush at first, because I have been used to plastic bristles on my dish brushes, and always considered them more sanitary. Amazingly, I find this brush so much easier to clean, and the long handle makes it perfect for cleaning any pitcher or sports bottle. My dad likes it so much that I catch him washing everything with it, including cereal bowls that would otherwise go straight in the dishwasher. It also lathers better than the plastic bristle brushes and seems to get into tiny crevices with ease. I have yet to see a hair fall out of it, even with daily use!The only thing I could find problematic over time would be if the handle stays wet for too long (or all day sitting in a holder) Logic tells me this could lead to it eventually splitting or breaking, and I hope to find an easy way to hang the brush because it can be difficult to find a holder for such a long handle.Despite only having it for a little over a month, I'm looking forward to replacing my other plastic brushes with the flat dish brush made by Bürstenhaus Redecker, and hanging them both. I'll update with pictures if I come up with something since I already have some ideas.

Great brush, but handle needs a little love to starh
I love the brush, but the first time I used it. I got a splinter in my hand, even though I had waxed the handle. Before I was gonna put any more effort into the handle, I wanted to make sure I’d liked the brush so I continue to use it always wear gloves.Love the brush. So I sanded it and have given it three coats of sparurethane I had in hand… Let’s see how that goes.

Best Option
There is a clear difference between bottle brushes with wooden handles. This one is totally worth the money. Light weight and sturdy.

German quality beats Chinese junk
I'm avoiding junk made in China. I couldn't find any long handled dish brushes made in the USA; these at least are made in Germany. They're well made and not going to fall apart any time soon. Since they are made from biodegradable materials, they will start to rot if you keep them constantly wet, so let them dry out in a sunny window between uses (sunlight kills mold and bacteria for all you germaphobes out there). The bristles are softer than the short handled scrubbers I bought along with it; this scrubber will not scratch those loooong, skinny fancy glasses you bought at Tiffany & Co. to impress THE Joneses (yes, THOSE Joneses!) so if you have dried enchilada sauce in the bottom of your thermos (don't let it happen to you...) let it soak a bit. The handle is even longer than I thought, and reaches to the bottom of my 40 oz thermos that I will NEVER cram enchiladas into again with ease. Vote with your dollars! Buy American whenever you can, but if you can't, German will serve you well for many years.

Love everything about these brushes
I’d like to preface this by saying I love simplicity and utilitarianism. I’m not a fan of bells and whistles- just give me a product that does its job well and is attractive to look at. Having said this, I really like this brush- they are small, soft, and natural- which is important to me because I try to have a natural home. Their design is simple and utilitarian- which my sensible nature enjoys. I currently have 3- i use one in the kitchen for baby bottles, narrow jars, mugs, etc. I also have 1 in each bathroom- i use them to scrub the toilets! They are great for this as well! I let them dry hanging in the toilet and then I store them in a mason jar behind toilet. I mark the bathroom one with a black dot on the handle (you never know with kids)Will definitely repurchase once mine start wearing out

Great brush!
I make sure I don’t leave it soaking and stand it on end to dry out. No mold or mildew. Still like brand new a year later.
