Volkman Seed Featherglow Fruit & Nut Goodies 2lb

- Fresh product, contains a great mix of tasty goodies ((and yup, of course I try anything *before* I give it to my precious companion parrot)). She likes the variety of nuts and fruits. I tried this because she had been started on Volkman Eclectus diet, and I kept with it after bringing her home with me. The Volkman products have a good ingredients and a good variety, and the Featherglow Fruit and Nut Goodies are a nice addition to her menu.

I have a Congo African Grey and Severe Macaw and like to throw in some extra treats with there food and this certainly has that... lots of great fruits and nuts. Some of the fruit (apricots, especially) are true to normal size, but dried and that's a bit too large for my birds, so I cut them up to make them more palatable and easily enjoyable. Probably most of the things included in this food would be best as is for larger birds, but it's still a nice selection for my birds and I don't mind a little more work to make it right. Definitely a good price for the quality of contents.

I’ve purchased this before for my African Grey and was very happy with it. I mixed it with other foods or seed mix(with sunflower seeds) and it provided a surprising variety for him. I even used it in his foraging toys. It was fresh and great quality. I didn’t give it 5 stars because our 2nd bag has a lot of apple peels in it which seems to be sticky so the mix doesn’t seem to be as free flowing as the first bag. I would believe this is a filler product, which I understand but disappointed with this bag. I will purchase a 3rd bag and hope that one is the same as the first. I have a picky bird and he seemed to like this treat.

I have Sun Conure (Sun parakeet) some of the fruits are big pieces so i have to cut it in couple pieces.Product is amazing, has lots of different fruits and nuts (fruits are true to their normal sizes), my bird loves it. So far this is the best mix i have ever found for my bird.I would recommend to put mix into some empty jar after you open it, otherwise some of the fruits will fry out.Shipping was super fast too.

Best bird food I could find. Lots of fruit. Would recommend this to mix with a more nutty and seedy mix as the bag is mostly made of fruit. Still well worth it. My picky Indian Ring neck loves it.

The fruit was way different than it usually is. Had lots of small ground up stuff and lots of large dried plantains. Bag did not look like the same stuff I’ve been buying for a long time.

A lot of thick banana chips. A lot of the content seems crushed and not fresh. It’s dusty.

We both snack on the Featherglo mix and seems to make it more exciting, besides an errant shell about have noticed nothing that is untoward and ill-tasting. Over the years it has become a constant food source for the bird. The quality has always been consistent. Thank you
