This is the be-all, end-all of diesel studies textbooks. This book covers everything from air brakes to driveline angles. It is a must-have for any student in this field, and it will make a very fine reference book for those who choose to keep it after school is over.

I purchased this book only because the college I chose for diesel mechanics required it. I’m no expert on these sorts of books but my instructors said they were not the best out there. My biggest complaint of these books was the tests having stupid tricks to make you get wrong answers. How many wheels does an 18 wheeler have? Answer: Ten, because the duals are considered a set and counted as one wheel.

First they charged me $67 for used book that is now selling for $55 new. Second, when I get the book I find there are pages missing (20 pages to be exact) The missing pages were not easily found upon initial inspection. Now I can't study for my test because of the missing pages. This is just wrong!!!

Bought two different books and had to leave one outside for a few days because it had bad moldy smell. Not sure which one he said.

It is a good ref. book.

This is an excellent book for learning all the basics. It has an easy to follow layout and is well put together for students who are just starting out.

workbook for my son's apprenticeship, first book I have ever seen him talk about when he is reading it.

its a work book for the school book. not properly labeled other then that ok. wasted money for my course though.
