Beware of products not labeled appropriately!! Where is it made? who knows
1st point; Tasted more like culinary than ceremonial. Bitter taste and not the color of green I expected2nd Point; came in a sealed can with a label. No where on the can does it state country of origin. Japan makes some of the best Ceremonial Matcha in the world and it always states Made in Japan. Then the UPC label on the can has a label over it. The new label has different info than the original.3rd Point; Chinese companies constantly takes advantage of consumers, other companies and anyone else they can.4th; Mostly sold on e-bay and where the tea comes from is not listed on the product.last point you can buy much better Matha than this and it will come labeled properly. Search GMA tea company and find it sold on E-bay with less info than Amazon.I will Avoid this product, company and any company that does not have proper labeling or that cover up the original product UPC code.Make it easy put the country of origin in writing, what do you have to hide by not doing this?.

Not impressed
I am new to matcha, but have been drinking green tea religiously for about 10 years. I was expecting more considering this is the highest rated matcha on Amazon. I didn't have anything to compare this product to, so I bought another can from a local WF store. The matcha from WF is multiple shades lighter than this product. This products color is army green where the local bought is bright green. I'm not including taste results since I have very bad sinuses.

Fine powder and delicate taste
This was the first matcha tea powder I've ever purchased. I've bought tea bags with matcha and bought the liter boxes of matcha Chai, so I don't claim to know a lot about matcha, but when I used all of this, I bought Mighty Leaf matcha powder, and it is grittier and takes longer to whisk than this brand. Also this tea simply tastes better. The difference in taste is difficult to describe, but I can definitely tell a difference in the 2 and much prefer this one!I was surprised I could see such a difference in the 2, and though very close in price, I believe a paid a little more for the Mighty Leaf.I have just receive my 2nd order of this tea. I dutifully drank the inferior brand for the least 6 weeks, and just had my first cup of this brand in as long, and the difference was so stark, both in consistency and easy of mixing, and it results in a silkier, smoother with better notes of flavor than the Mighty Leaf tea, and I felt really compelled to give this honest review. Thanks for making such delicious tea!I do add some milk and honey to my matcha, but after being a daily coffee drinker for decades now, it is nearly miraculous that I actually prefer matcha to coffee!

Great value for ceremonial grade matcha tea.
Best bang for your buck when it comes to ceremonial grade tea. Not giving it 5 stars because I've had better matcha teas. But for $17 or 2oz-ish, it is at least 50% more affordable than other matcha teas.Update June 3, 2017. Lowering to 3 stars due to the container. My other brands of matcha tea has better air tight containers. After 1 month of using this tea, air and moisture was able to get in and caused mold to grow. My other brands of matcha tea did not have this issue. If you live in an humid area, I highly recommend you to store it in an airtight container with something to absorb oxygen and moisture.

Quality Ceremonial Matcha at a Fantastic Price!
Somewhat new to Matcha and just learning all the great health benefits. I've replaced it with my coffee and loving it so far. Make sure you have a small electric hand mixer or a frother to suspend the matcha. It will not completely dissolve no matter how long you stir and how hot your water is. A frother or mixer is essential to proper suspension. Mix with a spoon full of organic local honey and babam! Your ready for the day!

Not high grade
Definitely not high grade. It looks and tastes like culinary grade matcha. Apparently, what I got is different from what those folks got who gave it a five-star rating -- or either they have not experienced a wide range of matcha.

Holy cow. If you don't do caffeine, start with 1/4 tsp or less. It definitely is great, bit the caffeine is throwing me for a loop. I don't drink coffee or soda. The energy is awesome and no real jitters, but I certainly feel it. I'll but again when this is out. Also, I mix with a protein smoothie, pb, Bananas, etc. You can clearly taste it. Strong green tea flavor. I don't mind but it's very noticeable.

Love this Matcha
I’m ordering for a third time. I start each day with a Keto Macha Latte. Macha powder, ground cinnamon, eryithrol, heavy whipping cream in a cup of boiling water. Sometimes I add a squirt of sugar free Torani salted caramel syrup. Blend in my Ninja for 20-30 seconds. So yummy
