These lightcatcher curtains are the best thing since perfect darkness.
The brand "Perfect Darkness" has been renamed "Lightcatcher" (or "Light Catcher" as some people spell it). We tried the Eclipse brand, but when closed on a cloudy day, the window remained a dimly glowing rectangle. When these Lightcatcher curtains are closed on a sunny day, the window is opaque, just like the wall. We tuck the edges in, so there is no light showing around the edges. They are an ultrasuede fabric on the outside - super soft like suede. The second layer is a black "ultradark technology" that blocks the light. The 3rd layer is white, and reflects the outside light very well. All sides and top are sewn together, so you don't have to wrestle with the layers. Note: Be careful to notice the measurements, and whether you're purchasing a curtain panel or a narrow valance for the top.
